I could make a living doing what I love by either becoming a doctor or engineer. I love helping people and I could achieve that by becoming a doctor. If I was a doctor I could help create medicine to aide injured or sick people by using bioengineering. I could also do what I love by becoming an engineer though. I love being able to figure out which pieces go together, but I also
When I grow up I would like to be a construction worker. Construction workers are the men and women that you see working on various construction sites, for example residential construction, highway construction, commercial construction, and more. I chose this career because I enjoy working in the outdoors as well as building structures. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills, or talents needed, salary and benefits offered and the duties for a particular career when making this decision.
Many people assume that because blue collar jobs "don't require brains", they make less money. However, blue collar jobs can make just as much. According to Mike Rowe, the host of show that does jobs no one else wants wants to do, says that Caterpillar is begging for jobs as a mechanic, but no one is taking the job. The starting salary is $50,000 and with experience is $120,000. In addition, there is an entire show (Blue Collar Millionaire) dedicated to the fact that there are blue collar workers making millions of
I choose welding as a main career choice because growing up I have always played with fire and have always loved melting things down. At first I wanted to be a fireman but they put fire out so once I saw that welders melt stuff down I choose that. My momma always told me to choose that as a career since I stayed playing with
Woodworking has been around for millennia or more. People have used wood for building shelter, tools, and other useful things. There are many different kinds of woodworking. The most common today are marquetry and parquetry, which are both forms of veneering and caring. There are many different styles of woodworking all of which are a very impressive art form.
My Career The career field I chose is to be a firefighter. The reason why I want to be a firefighter is because they help people and prevent fires from spreading. I’ve always wanted to help people everywhere, because I don’t like it whenever there is an accident and some people die and lose their loved ones, people talking crap about them and just talking and pointing the cameras in their face watching them cry. I want to help people and make a difference and help protect people’s lives, and be someone people recognize when I walk by them.
The career I wish to pursue is that of a stockbroker. I am extremely interested in the trading of stocks and financial holdings so the career of a stockbroker just seems to fit in with my overall plan. Numbers have also always been a fascination of mine and the trends of the economy and long term financial outlooks have often interested me greatly. Stock broking is a risky business that one needs to be prepared for highs and lows if choosing to pursue. You must understand what a stockbroker truly does to even begin to follow this as a life long career.
Woodworking, a form of carpentry, has been around for centuries and overtime developed into a more modern art. Today people will mostly see woodwork in homes in the form of furniture and decorations, or even smaller things such as family heirlooms passed down by generations and simple crafts made by younger generations. The skill of woodworking, however, is not inherited but takes practice and years of experience to fully master. Even experienced woodworkers run into challenges sometimes. The key is to overcome that obstacle and find different ways to create something new from a piece of wood. It is interesting to see and go through the process in which a woodworker goes through
...s estimated to be at $39,180 annually. The highest paid ten percent of interior designers, experts, in 2002 had wages of $69,640, while the lowest paid ten percent, beginners, were paid $21,240 (U.S. Department of Labor). Those who are genuinely committed to a fulltime career in designing know that urban areas and big cities pay better and provide more career options. In small town areas there is less demand for the input of an interior designer. Self-employed designers work for clients at a set, hourly fee, but majority of designers work in a firm for either a straight salary or an hourly fee to clients. In interior design, because there is so much flex given to each designer in a firm, there really are no requirements of benefits, insurance, or retirement plans. The established benefits are completely up to the individual employer. (Careers in Focus: Design)

Possibly the biggest choice of any person's life remains what vocation to go into. Even areas people have skills in may not give enough satisfaction to turn into a career, whether that satisfaction stays financial or otherwise. Whatever occupation I choose, I sincerely hope that the trek will remain on its uncertain and awesome course.

My future career choice is nursing, which is a profession that has been immensely affected by globalization. Globalization is, by definition, the sharing of knowledge, technique, and application across the globe. Nursing is one of the more affected professions because of how important it is to have global standards for treating disease. Not only that, but it 's crucial to have an understanding of a patient 's cultural or religious beliefs before treating them,
Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person has to make in their life. It is so important because that is what we will have to do to support ourselves throughout life. Imagine being stuck in a dead end job and having to go to work every morning and dreading it. That is no spending oneÕs time and life is too short to work 35 years and be unhappy with it. If a person likes the job they do then it is not work, because finding satisfaction out of a job can bring great happiness. That information has enabled me to make the decision of choosing my area of study and career in the field of Information Technology.
Carpenters have been around for a very long time. Carpentry is mentioned in the Bible several times, which lets you know it is a very old occupation. It has been described as one of the earliest occupations and trades that are still practiced today. Even though woodworking and woodcarving developed more recently into an art, man has long used woodworking to better their lives. The word “carpenter” has its roots in ancient times being a derivative of the ancient Latin word “carpentrius” meaning “maker of a carriage.” The Chinese, who are thought to be one of the earliest civilizations to use carpentry, date their woodworking back to 720 B.C. Many details were developed during this time by the Chinese. They used precise measurements to make pots, tables, and other pieces of furniture from wood. We know about the Egyptians and their knowledge of carpentry thanks to archaeologists unearthing many woodcarving pieces found in Egyptian tombs. Some archaeologists believe that the Egyptians were the first to put "finishes" on their wood workings. Finishing is putting some type of protective sealant on your wooden material to preserve it longer. The Roman’s carpenter’s tools included raps, adzes, and saws. The knowledge of woodworking possessed by the Egyptians, Chinese, and Romans was most certainly spread to other parts of the civilized world in ancient times.
