The number of complaints relating to Cal State Fullerton’s parking is out of control. Considering the prices CSU Fullerton charges to park at their school, students should be guaranteed a parking space. Students are currently outraged regarding the Cal State Fullerton’s parking conditions. Some students even decide to not attend the school based on the pricing and availability of parking. A school losing an immense number of students only because of the parking situation is insane. Cal State Fullerton should reduce the pricing towards parking for reasons of availability, cost, and profit.
Reducing the prices for the CSUF parking is necessary and important since there are so few parking spots available. About a majority of the students who are commuting to Cal State Fullerton own a parking permit, yet they probably would state that it

is insanely tough to locate a parking spot since each parking space is taken.
Students should not feel the anxiety of being late to class based on the CSUF parking issues. Tardiness often suggests that students could be lazy or show lack of care for their education. On the other hand, tardiness may be different at a school similar to CSUF. Titan students will quickly learn that they must show up to school an hour early in order to find a parking space, if they are lucky. Due to students not being capable of finding a parking space on time, they are generally tardy to their college courses. In this case, student’s education should not be affected due to parking issues. However, colleges are not as impacted in the summer, therefore, students should not be expected to worry about finding an open location to park. Although, several students may have disagreed that the parking lot tends to be impacted in the summer as well. For example, I attend a summer course for English, having
shown that, I had to park in the Cal State Fullerton parking lot. Nevertheless, I arrived at the school an hour and a half early and finding a parking spot was still difficult. Since it was the first day as a Titan, the plan was to explore and assimilate the campus, yet more than half the time was spent on locating a parking spot. Additionally, although it may be extremely expensive, building an additional parking lot may influence more students to purchase a parking permit. Finding parking at CSUF is similar to attempting to locate parking at a movie theater, the day a popular film comes out. In addition, CSUF should lower parking costs because students cannot afford to purchase a parking permit. Parking permits for one semester costs about two hundred and thirty dollars. In this case, students will need to request for additional hours at their current job in order to pay for their permit. Students have other fees to worry about, such as housing, books, and meal plans. Cal State Fullerton may not be the most expensive school for parking, nevertheless, the average student may find it difficult to afford. Several colleges in Orange County only charge students about twenty to thirty dollars for a semester, which is a large comparison to Fullerton. Many Titan students often criticize about how awful CSUF parking is and how it is not worth the money out of their wallet. The prices Cal State Fullerton charges for parking is intolerable. Students attending CSUF should not have to worry about saving up money for parking when they could be using their money for their tuition and other necessities. Not to mention, reducing the prices for the CSUF parking would be helpful since the school would gain profit in the end. Many students attending CSUF are not willing to purchase a parking permit due to the pricing. However, if the school decreases the price for parking, a higher number of students would probably purchase a parking permit since it would be more affordable; this will lead to an increase in parking permit sales and an increase in profit for CSUF. If Fullerton is not willing to build an additional parking lot, then the school should lower the prices for parking. Students are paying over two hundred dollars for a permit that does not guarantee them a spot. It is understandable that the school will lose profit in the beginning, nevertheless, many students will be encouraged to buy a permit and CSUF will increase a profit in the end. Cutting the price for parking will modify a student’s view on CSUF’s parking services and will influence more students to purchase a parking permit. In reality, reducing the prices for CSUF parking may cause mayhem in the school parking lots. Students previously were having difficulties locating a single parking spot, and if the school lowers the prices, more students will be in the parking lot looking for parking. This will make it impossible for a student to find parking. Also, if CSUF decreased the price for the permit, the school will need to build an additional parking lot, which will cost a massive amount of currency. In fact, CSUF will make a profit after building an extra parking structure due to students feeling more confident about finding a parking space. If CSUF builds a new parking lot, there will be over a thousand more parking spots available. For example, the school would be set if they built a parking structure the size of Bella Terra’s. The Bella Terra parking structure contains over a thousand and five hundred parking spaces available. Bella Terra is an extremely impacted outdoor mall and citizens certainly do not have trouble locating a parking spot. If CSUF built a parking structure similar to Bella Terra’s, students will not think twice before purchasing a permit. Titan students will not feel the need to worry about being late to class again if the parking lots are not as impacted. Making a change in the price for the CSUF parking permit would generate a significant amount of positive outcomes. Students should not have to worry about being late to class due to the parking conditions. Cal State Fullerton administration needs to understand that many students have to pay for several fees that are extremely expensive and parking should be the last problem that the student should worry about. Even though it may seem like CSUF would lose money from lowering the prices, more students will be encouraged to purchase a permit, therefore, the school will be making a profit. If there is no change, more students will have a mindset to attend a different school and several students will not feel proud to be a Titan.
The purpose of this lab was to discover how diverse the parking lot at Bunker Hill High School could be, by finding out the Shannon Wiener biodiversity index of the parking lot. The parking lot was used because it does not have much immigration and emigration of the cars. Using an actual ecosystem in the wild would be hard to control, what is immigrating and emigrating out of the experiment. The experiment shows how diverse the cars were, and this can show how diverse an actual ecosystem was during that time of the experiment. This then tells that diversity does matters because if everyone had the same kind of car, then no one would be different. However, if the students, faculty, and guests had a variety of cars in the parking lot, which made the experiment more diverse in the parking lot or the community of cars.
It’s an experience I remember vividly. Each time I would pull up to the cone, turn the wheel, and try to get into the small area without bumping the curb or the cone. When I had first started practicing I tended to hit the curb or the cone a lot. Sometimes I would accidentally run over the curb and be on the grass. Parallel parking was a trying experience, but an important lesson. Without knowing how to parallel park, I wouldn’t have been able to pass the test to get my license. Each time I failed getting the car into the space, I could try to figure out what I did wrong and apply it to the next try.
As we all know the current tuition of community colleges has change in a vase way by rising up every year due to lack of funds from the government to aid for school and among other reasons. President Obama announced
Over the past few years, the parking control office has been expanded and made more efficient by the addition of computers and the implementation of new filing procedures. Unfortunately, the department is still not providing the services it is capable of. This is due to the fact that the parking control office is under staffed in respect to counter attendants. This lack of sufficient people to work the front counter causes the process of appealing and paying parking tickets to become extremely bogged down. This proposal provides a cost effective solution to the problem that will not only help parking control, but will also benefit anyone doing business with the office.
From conducting this survey, I learned that many students, whether they attend a public or a private school are unsatisfied with the rising tuition prices. The findings support my hypothesis. The next step in this research would to ask more college students about their thoughts and opinions about rising tuition prices. I would ask more students from different types of college and students taking on different types of degree. An implication this research could have for other research is that rising tuition prices are hurting students financially.
... these athletes and start rewarding them because if they start paying them, the school would have more people playing sports with degrees and this would give the school a good reputation.

Last issue is, what about the kids who are actually paying the full tuition or partial tuition to go there, where is their money going? The whole thing is college athletes have been getting played since before I was born and it needs to stop soon. It’s just a loose loose situation for student athletes right now and that is no fun. Paying them would make their lives way easier and keep them out of trouble.
As a non-traditional student of the University Mary Hardin Baylor, I can say parking policies could use some changes. I understand the need for parking policies for safety and security reasons, but some parking rules are just ridiculous. My family has four vehicles, only one of them has a UMHB parking sticker. This sticker was issued at registration; it is one of the many hidden fees that are added into tuition. I sometimes drive different vehicles to campus. When I drive different vehicles, I have to go to campus police to get a temporary parking permit. However, I do have the option to purchase a sticker for each vehicle, if I want to pay fifteen dollars for each sticker. Another parking issue is that vehicles cannot be pulled through or backed into a parking space. Neither backing into a parking space, nor pulling forward into a parking space causes any safety or security problems. Does it really matter if the rear of the vehicles is facing the outside row? Rules and regulations have their place, but some are just ridiculous.
As the cost of athletic programs increase, many states are forced to pass the fees along directly to students. According to national statistics, there is a 25% to 30% reduction in participation when fees are implemented. Consequently, many of the students who benefit most from athletic programs cannot afford to participate.
School days starting later would help improve student attendance by a lot! For example, a copious amount of students oversleep which results in lateness to school. However, if school started at least one to two hours later, then the students perhaps will not be late, and as a result, they can...
College students have to balance work, family, and college activists and any delaying behavior from within can cause an unbalance. This behavior is called procrastinating and it can lead to problems in many areas of a student’s life. College students are the worst hit by this type of behavior because they have many different activities to focus on instead of studying. These activities can cause students to study when they have time which often is usually too short amount of time. There is a time and place to relax and enjoy life, but if students focus on playing around instead of getting their assignments done, college life will be stressful.
Each year millions of high school students start thinking about which college they want to attend. With an annual sticker price of “$21,228”, students know a college education is not cheap. Students understand that tuition prices are not stagnant “Between 2003–04 and 2013–14, prices for undergraduate tuition, fees, room, and board at public institutions rose 34 percent, and prices at private nonprofit institutions rose 25 percent, after adjustment for inflation” Parents and students often wonder what the cause for these increases are. Unfortunately, there is no one simple answer. The painful truth is the reason for rising tuition prices is the result of several factors.
While studying or even registering for a class presents a challenge to some college students, the greatest obstacle remains, going to class. Attending college is supposed to signify a new found freedom to make many important choices regarding education without high school mandatory attendance policies. However, students everywhere are coming to the staggering realization that college is not too different from high school. Teachers still take class roll and students are still expected to be at every class on time. What next, hall monitors in the hall? The time has come for action to be taken. Colleges must abolish mandatory student attendance policies for several reasons to be further discussed.
Remaining constant of state funding to the higher education, and public universities lowering the prices below equilibrium, academic leaders warn that, the freeze on the tuition without increased funding from other sources can result to large classes, fewer course selections and professors lost to other institutions. This would have a negative effect to the country's quality of education. However, even lowering of tuition fee in public universities does not guarantee an increased demand for education. Information obtained from Pennsylvania State has shown that, low tuition fees do not necessarily imply an increased level of enrollment. The opposite case is experienced, the higher the fees, the higher the number of enrollments recorded in public universities. Between the year 2003 and 2004, average tuition fees were around $1862 a year which was the lowest compared to other states, but the state had the lowest enrollment in comparison with other states 'for example' a state with the highest tuition ...
