Imagine falling so far behind in class that it seems impossible to catch up,the stress becomes real, the anxiety hits, and the nerves strike! Falling behind can be difficult and hard academically and being successful can help. In order to be successful in freshman year turning in all homework, putting forth best effort, and asking questions are all key points in being successful in freshman year and throughout high school. First of all in freshman year turning in all homework assignments is very important. An example of this is when I didn't turn in all my homework in the first semester of math. I didn't always turn in all of my homework in the first semester of math freshman year, and because I didn’t I got a lot of zeros which really hurt my math grade and I was so stressed out about passing the exam and the class I literally started crying and because of not turning in all my homework it will affect me when I apply for college because they will look at my grades . Next I didn’t ask a lot of questions in biology the second semester. I didn't ask questions and I was completely lost in the class and had no idea how to do any of it I had no idea what the teacher was talking about, my grades started lowering because I didn't think asking questions was important, but really it is.
