Success isn’t given, it’s earned on the track, on the field, and in the gym with blood, sweat, and the occasional fear” -Unknown. This is relevant because it is hard for students to want to play sports but also to do well in school. If high school students can’t find the time to keep their grades up or to keep a certain GPA, they should not be allowed to play sports. Students need to prove themselves to be able to play any sport and still be able to do well in school. Also, having good grades shows the coach maturity and may earn them more playing time if they are working hard in school and in practice.
School now days kids like to think it is to “hard” or they don't have the motivation to keep up in school. In high school you are being taught responsibility, you learn lessons. Sometimes the hard way. As students, we should try and succeed in academics as well as doing our best to succeed in sports. Sports to some kids are there only way out. Kids that live in bad neighborhoods, kids that hardly have enough to get them by, and them are the kids that realize they need the motivation in school because high school is a big deal. …show more content…

I believe those that want it bad enough will go out and get it, and not miss these opportunities. If you miss your opportunity to be successful, you learned a lesson right there. And once you learned it you will think about missing out on it. Don't miss out on great opportunities, they mean a lot in your life, it's your future and it will impact you a ton. Success is important, it is what your future consist of. Also those that don't think success is not important will see it in the long run. So dont be lazy and go out and get the success you want. It doesn't have to be to play every minute of the game or who can run the farthest . Success is earned in many different ways. And once you have reached out and tried and tried you will see your
