Nowadays, there a sense that everything moves on so quickly. Every decade that goes by technology and society always seem to change. Today, there is some sort of lack of appreciation how we could do stuff that we could not do pre technology. The 1990’s and our current decade is similar in some ways but is mostly different. From most of the people that I have spoken to, that lived in both side of the spectrum, say that it was a different world back then. We live in an age where music can be heard instantly from a phone or a computer. In the 90’s however, if you wanted to listen to a song, you would have to go to a music store and buy an album or wait for it to play on the radio. Today, we have applications like Spotify or Soundcloud where you could listen to a large variety of music whenever you want to. Today the radio seems like an option to listen to music if you want where as back then it was the only source of music. The music industry today has more songs and artist than back then. Today, someone can post a video of them singing online and instantly become famous. …show more content…

You would also have to go to rent or buy a movie from a DVD store like Blockbuster. Were as of today, you can rent or buy movies from TV without having to go to a movie store.
