Introduction
Robert Coleman penned the “The Master Plan of Evangelism.” The author is a notable Professor of both; discipleship and evangelism at Wheaton College at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary where he serves as the director of Billy Graham’s Center Institute of Evangelism. This book not only takes a humble approach, but also an extremely astute one concerning the approaches that Jesus demonstrated in discipleship when he walked on earth.
Coleman also includes several principles that Jesus applied in regards to making disciples through the process of; (1) Election (2) Association (3) Consecration (4) Impartation (5) Demonstration (6) Delegation (7) Supervision, and (8) Reproduction. Coleman informs his readers that often times the church neglects to carry on the work which Jesus started in winning souls and preserving them in his established work. The new converts are to forever follow Christ, forever learning and growing in Him. The author wrote this book as a means to encouraging the people of God to obtain a deeper commitment to the teachings of Jesus and to follow the principles which he demonstrated in order to be consistent and effective in evangelism.

I personally will do better in being mindful that I am a living epistle being read by others and will be more consistent in my evangelism so that the world will see Christ in me at all times. This book served as a gentle reminder and has assisted me in staying on track with the mission at hand, which is to have the right heart, mind, and spirit of God when sharing the Gospel, winning souls, and in discipleship, so that those we are teaching and leading will be trained to do the same with those who they are leading and this process is to continue until His return.
I found this book to be full of valuable nuggets based on Scripture and that I will apply in my daily life. This could also be extremely beneficial for anyone who is focused and committed to putting into practice these eight effective principles for evangelism in fulfilling the Great Commission.
