This letter is to express my interest in the Administrative Assistant position in your Internal Audit department. My experience as an Administrative Assistant, Systems Coordinator, Receptionist and other supportive roles has allowed me to gain experience in providing excellent customer service while multitasking. At Hughes Hubbard and Reed LLP, I have utilized Microsoft Office along with heavy calendaring, and record management to perform my daily duties; i.e. scheduling departmental training and meetings, preparing budgets and expense reports, while maintaining time and attendance. In addition, I have coordinated staff and attorney’s requests as it pertains to IT support; as well as followed up with vendors’ and clients’ queries, and maintained
Last summer, I worked at a car dealership in my hometown as a cashier and receptionist. I was responsible for processing large payments, handling both the physical paperwork and the digital orders in our dealer management software. On the reverse side, I worked at Five Guys in a very team-oriented environment. Everyone had their own part to play, but our successes were ultimately a result of how well we worked as a team. This job also taught me how to juggle multiple responsibilities, as we were frequently understaffed and had to jump between positions.
In closing, I would like to restate my interest in the Student Advisor position with the Somewhere Internship and Career Center for the 2001-2002 academic year.
What experiences have you had which prepare you for this position (e.g perhaps as an employee, leader, or working with people different from yourself, etc)?
I would like to thank Salish Kootenai College for giving me the wonderful opportunity of applying for STEM academy. If somebody had told me that I would be applying for college classes as a sophomore, I would not have believed them. My parents have always told me that when an opportunity comes, you should take it, and I do not plan on letting this experience go to waste. Education has been a big part of my life, and this academy can only help me move forward. That being said, here are a few reasons why I should be considered a candidate for the STEM academy. Joining the STEM academy will allow me to further my knowledge and help me to get closer to my goals, my academic career would flourish, and I would be closer to my ambition for my future. I am determined to become the best and most educated version of myself that I can possibly be.
After over 15 years of working as a CNA and Caregiver, I decided that I wanted to continue my education in the medical field. In 2013 I took the first step towards gaining a better future with more experience as a medical professional. I enrolled into a Medical Assistant program at IBMC college of Longmont. It has been a long road and I am almost to the finish line having gained essential skills needed to move further into my career. It has been a grueling and eye opening experience for me being an adult learner returning back to school at 33 years of age. I persevered through these pass two years with courage and determination, never letting my short comings get the best of me. As I approach the end of my journey with IBMC I have realized that I have a passion for helping those persons who
I turned in an application for the position of yearbook editor at my high school at the end of junior year. The two current editors and my yearbook teacher interviewed me for the position. These editors were my friends of course, but I was still so nervous, I wanted to prove to them that I was an eligible candidate. I got a few laughs in but tried to keep it as professional as I could. A few days passed and I had begun questioning the status of my application. One day in class, my teacher called me in the hallway. He was standing outside and asked me if I would like to accept the position of the editor. I was frozen, caught off guard, I was not expecting this. My heart was racing, I could feel my face getting warmer, I couldn’t speak all I could do was laugh nervously. I finally got myself together to form the word “yes.”As a freshman, I never would have thought that I would be taking on such a big responsibility. It wasn’t

Right from savages, man has constantly endeavored to make food more & more palatable, interesting and health friendly. In the 21st century, social networks have become a commonplace for teens and adults to post their thoughts, pictures, and interests. Greg, a high school student, regularly vented his thoughts on Facebook and often used explicit language to convey his emotions. His account also contained a large collection of pictures, most of them displaying him at parties. When he entered his senior year, he applied to a variety of universities. Even though Greg submitted exemplary CV’s, universities rejected his applications because his social accounts provided a dark, candid aspect of his life that extended beyond perfect grades, athletic achievements, and exemplary service hours.
