Aaron Gunkel is a responsible, intelligent, worthy candidate for the AFRL summer program. He is currently enrolled in AP classes at his high school, Career Enrichment Center, and dedicated to his studies. My previous experience with him was while a member of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Albuquerque Heights Composite “Spirit” Squadron where he honorably progressed from Basic Airman to Chief Master Sergeant before having to terminate his membership to dedicate time to his academic studies. He regularly attended CAP meetings and was very faithful in assisting younger cadets. Gunkel is a quiet, polite, pleasant young man, dedicated to doing things the correct way. Michael Moscherosch was born on November 23rd, 1962, in Stuttgart Germany. He and his younger brother were born into a working class family, with his mother working as a full-time accountant and his father working as a car mechanic. The Moscherosch family stayed in Stuttgart for since its inception, the families ancestral roots stem as far back as the 1600s and stayed within Stuttgart and the villages surrounding the area. Michael as a child was described to be scholastic and performed well in his school. In Germany, instead of there being an elementary, middle, and high school, there is a primary school and then secondary schools prioritizing certain fields; some of these fields include engineering, trade schools, and “gymnasiums” which closely represent the structure of our American high schools. Upon completing his secondary school education, Michael began studying Chemistry at the University of Stuttgart, working at night during the week to fund his education.
Many people who attended college and have served in the military or police force tend to get promoted quicker. He also recommended that I do everything in my power to maintain a clean record and be honest on all applications. He has seen many recruits go into the academy and lie on documents. Those recruits were immediately released and were not allowed to apply again for another two years. He also wants to encourage all minorities to start applying and getting involved in police work. More departments are searching for eligible applicants such as African Americans every day. Eric Ostendorf is a 15 year old boy that has developed an eating disorder that is taking over his life. This started out as what seemed like a typical teen hobby, wanting to build some muscle. He started exercising excessively and got the point where it become an addiction. He lost loads of weight and had nearly zero body fat due is strict and obsessive diet. Eventually the doctors said that he couldn’t work out anymore and basically banned him from exercise. For years I have aspired to become a part of an elite organization such as the military, and more importantly, the United States Navy. Its reputation for instilling high moral character was encouragement for me to develop into a more mature, responsible, and independent young citizen. There are certain qualities that an officer must possess such as: honor, courage, commitment, and attention to duty, responsiveness to orders, cooperation, loyalty, leadership, integrity, and discipline. Richard Kuklinski, otherwise known as “Iceman,” is considered one of the most unique serial killers in American history today. Kuklinski murdered an unknown number of people throughout his life. Kuklinski suffered a rough upbringing which held a key component of creating his criminal behavior. As a child, he endured an absolute unloving household. His father beat him for no apparent reason. His father held a strong dominating attitude over Richard and his siblings. His mother was no saving grace, as she also beat him with inanimate objects such as kitchen supplies. “Why would you want to interview me when there are plenty of people back home that would be easier to interview in person?” asks John Stout. He is about 5’11, has dark black hair and his eyes are a rich chocolaty brown. He is tan and has a strong muscular body. John is currently deployed in Bagram Afghanistan. He departed on July 7th, 2016 and will not return until April of 2017. He grew up in Fort Ripley, MN and graduated from Brainerd High School in 2014. John is very close with his Mother, Father, Brother and Sister. He grew up with a wrench in his hand and always helped his Father work on project cars and fixing things around the house. To John, family is everything. His family always took vacations and every summer, he gets to travel around the United States for Army training. John grew up in a military family. His Father works as a Warrant Officer in the Minnesota National Guard and his Brother, Curtis, is in the Marine Corps and is also deployed right now.John has always wanted to serve his country
I believe that the AIM Program will be a challenging experience. I really enjoy pushing myself to new heights, AIM would be a new thrilling way to do that. I would also like to meet people from around the United States, I think it’d be so interesting to speak and get to know different people from different types of places. I want to learn how to drill and sail, I want to do all the things that a cadet would do. I want to be a part of the US Coast Guard Academy tradition. I also would greatly enjoy experiencing what the US Coast Guard Academy has to offer, I want to experience what life would be as a cadet.
