There are a lot of different things to take into consideration when you are looking for a job within the culinary industry. Some things you may need to look into are how much you will be paid, how easy it is to get a job in that industry, what training is needed, and the working conditions. There are many jobs out there that require a degree in Culinary Arts. Some of these include a chef, cook, caterers, food preparation workers and so many more. Usually, there’s a short-term on-the-job training that will take place. During the training, you will be taught basic knife skills, sanitation and safety rules, and how to properly prepare and handle food. In bigger food industries, your training will be under the supervision of an experienced chef. The experienced chef will teach you everything you need to know. Such as how to work equipment, where certain foods go, and how things are made. Different restaurants have different equipment, therefore training is needed every time you enter a new kitchen in a restaurant or other food serving places. My reason for choosing this job as a cook is because I love to cook. I have been cooking for as long as I can remember. I have always admired watching different cooking shows and the techniques that they use in the kitchen. I’ve been interested in learning how to be able to cut up things super-fast and make quick and easy meals. If being a cook doesn’t work out, I would also love to be a photographer. I would love to make food, take pictures of it, and then send it to food companies to use for advertising. No matter what I end up doing, I know that I for sure want to do something that has to do with
Alice with her self sustaining restaurant, friends and family based meals. Taking what the community has to offer and giving right back tenfold! thats what being a chef is. Being a chef really has nothing to do with how efficiently you can butcher half a cow, how perfect your battonet slice is, or how aromatic and golden your basic stock is. Being a chef is being a community leader/activist.

With that being said, I believe cuisine and art are related. Cuisine is a form of expression. Coming up with dishes and preparing meals has to deal with a lot of creativity. You need imagination, innovation, and technique to create a new meal or to prepare an old one and add your own ideas to it. This is more challenging than being said. Professional chefs go through extensive amount of training to prepare a meal a certain way. They have to learn the basics such as cracking an egg properly before preparing ...
Jobs like being a waiter or waitress that serves other people are called in-person servers. Being a student is also included in this category because they study and serve other people too, such as their teachers, and peers. The only difference is they do not get paid, but they learn from the lessons they are being taught. While being a student, he or she can also get a job in order to save money. Most of the jobs students get are being an in-person server but as students take more courses and after years of studying, they will have the potential to become a symbolic analyst. Students can study whatever courses they want to take. It is their own decision whether they want to be a doctor, nurse, engineer or any other profession. A nurse can be considered as in-person server since they are known to serve patients, but they can also be considered a symbolic analyst, because they still have the chance to become wealthy like any other analysts are. As a nurse, he or she can have associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree. Many people say that having a bachelor’s degree is better so many people takes bachelor’s degree since they think that the more they spend studying, the more knowledge and experience they have. Employers are more likely to hire someone with a bachelor’s degree but getting either degree will be better than nothing. People should think seriously about their future and motivate themselves in order to be

I have known from an early age that I’ve wanted to become a doctor. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian. However, after working with young children I have found that I love working with them, and have a connection with children. Currently, I am interested in becoming either a neonatologist or a general pediatrician so I can continue to work with young children.
People are influenced by everything from jobs, music, fashion, certain people, even to different cultures. Chefs never seemed like the group of people one would expect to have an impact on the world, but they do. They change the way people see food and show that it is far more than just a way to stay alive it is sort of like a new way of life to say. There was one woman who changed the scene entirely, by graduating from the Parisian cooking school Le Cordon Bleu, publishing 19 books, airing 13 television shows, and having 8 DVD releases. Julia Child has been an inspiration for many cooks but has also influenced society as a whole while changing the way people thought about food and at the same time, revolutionizing the professional cooking industry for women.
In the food and Hospitality industry, Working with Colleagues and Customers is an important part of the job. Customer relations and interpersonal skills are the two most important skills that a person working in that industry will need to know about.

Customer service by definition is the ability of knowledgeable, capable, and enthusiastic employees to deliver products and services to their internal and external customers in a manner that satisfies identified and unidentified needs and ultimately results in positive word-of-mouth publicity and return business (Lucas, 2012, pg.7). In other words, it’s making the customer pleased so that they keep doing business with you all while making sure that the employees get along and work together well. In every business there is a form of customer service. Unfortunately, it is not always excellent or even decent. Some businesses just either don’t care or possibly just don’t have the training to deal with some of the obstacles that come with dealing with customers on a daily basis. I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 13 years and I can tell you that there are skills that some are born with and others need training on, yet either way they should be used whenever interacting with customers.
The history of how my career became what it is today, starts way back to when humans first discovered how to cook and the various ways of cook. Many different factors contribute to the changes this career goes through. The French Revolution and Industrial Revolution were the main factors. Cooking was first discovered some time in between the first uses of fire and the first appearance of the Neanderthals.
Overall, this career is important to our society because nobody wants bad ice cream. And no one by ice cream the company will have to cut back. This then will cause people to loose their jobs. Then the unemployment rate + poverty will rise. Finally our country will fall and become a waste land (that escalated quickly). I think this career would be good for me because I will be making money doing something I love (eating).
Business has been a large part of my family, and has started to grow on me. My dad worked in sales for many years, and is now the President of a company in Staples. My mom started her own cleaning business, and now works for herself, as well as my uncle owns a golf course, and a pump and well business. My other uncle has his own handy man business, while one of my aunts operates a redimix and construction company . So I guess it could be said, business is kind of in by blood.
There are so many reasons I love to cook, cooking is one of those things that just comes naturally for me, and I think I inherited, because I can cook almost anything and nail it on the first try, much like my grandmother. But the main reason I love to cook is because it keeps me stress free. For example when I am cooking I have very little time to think, because the cooking is challenging my mind and taking my mind off the stress of everyday life.
It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be a chef. However, if one has a passion for cooking it will pay off. I am a creative person and cooking has endless possibilities of creativity, such as the way you make it and the way you plate it. I want to become a chef and hopefully open a restaurant one day. To do that, you need to learn the basic skills. Julia Child once said, “No one is born a great cook, one learns by doing.”
