The gods must be crazy

You could say that the movie has 3 different plots who all merge togheter in the end. The movie begins by showing a tribe of bushmen who lives in the Sahara dessert. After that it switches over to scenes of stressed people living in the crowded and fast paced city. The narrator describes the life of people living in the city aswell as the lives of the bushmen. When you see the city you get to listen to a woman who decides to quit her job and to get work as an english teacher. Her name is Kate Thompson and she is tired of her job as a newspaper editor. When the movie starts she is living in Johannesburg but later she has to move out to a small village where her new job takes place. To get there she has to go with this man called Andrew Steyn who appears a bit strange to her but in the end she reaches the village like she was supposed to do.
The second plot we see is about a bushman called Xi. He and his tribe are happily living in the desert when suddenly something falls out of the sky. One of the tribe-members picks it up and brings it to the rest of the tribe. The weird object was a regular coke bottle which someone threw out of a plane. No one in the tribe has never seen anything like it before and it is harder than any materials they know of.
At first the bottle seems to bring joy and happiness and they discover that it serves as a tool for all kinds of things. Soon they are all in need of the bottle and a fight breaks out between two children. Xi then realises that the bottle is something evil that the gods has sent them and he decides to throw it off the end of the world. He says goodbye to his tribe and begins the journey to get rid of the evil bottle.
The third and last plot is about a grou...

They dress Xi like one of the hostages, then they arm him with a tiny bow and a needle attached to a string. Before they shoot the needle, they dip it in some tranquilizer. As soon as the needle hits one of the guards, Xi has to immediatly pull it out with the string. The guard will only think he got stung by a mosquito and soon after he will fall asleep. When the guards are asleep, the children then proceeds to disarm them one by one.

My personal rating for this movie would be an 3/5. The reasons for this is because it is an interesting and unique concept with an very interesting and funny way to edit the scenes. It had some predictable jokes though but most of them were totally unexpected. It also had a cheesy ending which is why i am not going to give it a full 5/5.
Out of a scale of 5(as being the best), I would give it a 4 and a half. The movie had a real good plot. It showed an American soldier leave his post and communicates with the Indians, which was very shunned upon. The American got very friendly with the Indians and also had a liking towards one of the females. While there relationship goit stronger they got married and when he went back to his post to get some things, he was caught by his troops, which thought he was an Indian. When they found out he was a soldier who became an Indian, they were going to try him of treason. While he was on his way back home, the Indians came and saved him from the white men.
In my eyes I loved the book I rate it a 9/10, its had a good twist and turn to it. I loved this
Genre of the Narrative: The book is written as a satire in that it pokes fun at many themes and ideas in literature. The film follows suit with witty jokes and memorable quotes.
Many of the story’s aspects were dominated by setting a slow rise and crashing climax. There were many such climaxes, Pg. 2, Pg. 7, and Pg. 9, give this such evidence. The flow kept me interested, and would grasp my attention as a TV show would. Although is context was far from a TV show. There was much talk about civil lifestyles by the town folk, which were a particularly an odd selection of people to intervene in such a story. Although the reaction witnessed by this allowed us to get another insight, from a second person perspective.
The Narrative or storyline is much the same as any other film noir movie. It has a ‘hard boiled’ cop (Russell Crowe) who we grow attached to. The narrative of any film must have certain ‘key conventions’ which are apparent for the audience to tell the genre of the film. The narrative can be used to provide an explanation as to why the film contains certain things, or why a character does something.
1. As I was reading the book Clockwork Orange, I felt like it deserved a 8 out of 10. I enjoyed the book because while I was reading it, I did not have such a clear image of all the rape, sex, and violence. Talking from personal experiences, I did not want to picture those images in my head. Finding out there was a movie of Clockwork Orange kind of scared me but also gave me excitement because I wanted to see how different the the book was from the movie. After viewing Clockwork Orange, I would rate it a 7 out of 10. I rated it a 7 out of 10 because the rape and violence was overused. In the beginning of the movie, there were non-stop sex and rape scenes. For example, when Alex and his goons fake their way into an emergency just so they could attack a older man and rape his wife, who later dies because of this accident. Toward the end of the movie, there was a lot of
The complexity of the plot starts when the reader is introduced to a man lost in a cave and his source of light goes out and continues when the man realizes that “starving would prove [his] ultimate fate” (1). Readers get a sense of hopelessness the man is feeling, and this is where the tensions begins to build. Alt...
The plot is about human weakness. Hatred, jealousy, lust can make anyone loses his mind and do the most unthinkable acts. We should understand our human nature and not be motivated by these evil characteristics to do thing to harm others. At the same time, there are many wicked people around, who will use many manipulative skills to persuade us to do evils and we must resist it.
The first event occurs when Kumalo arrives in Johannesburg. afraid of the stories that he has heard, he puts his trust in another black. man who appears to be of good intentions, but in reality cheats Kumalo of his. money. I will be able to make it. This experience is unlike his time on the train, in which Kumalo had been treated with immense respect.
...r, this movie is lack of depth of storyline. The audiences can even predict what will happen in the next scenes. Moreover, the ending of this movie is too cheesy and irrational according to me. If only they change the ending to become more interesting and rational, I will give a four or five stars out of five. In spite of a lame twist ending, this movie is a perfect example to show that managers should be able to motivate and challenge their employee. It is important to remember that a happy employee means a productive employee.
Overall I would rate Stuck In Love four stars. The reasoning behind the four stars instead of a five star rating is because of the confusion through some key parts of the movie. I believe that more clarity throughout the key parts of the movie would decrease the amount of assumptions made in the film and would clarify in more detail what had happened and the connections between the characters. This would be needed to take this movie to the next level in regards to explaining what exactly is going on, and not to just leave it to assumptions. The director of the movie had left blank spots for the audience to assume what they would believe, while I believe that if the director would have given a more direct approach to what had happened the film would have had been more clear and

Because of the under development of science, Ancient Greeks used mythologies and associated to the gods anything that they could not explain or understand, which also have revealed many aspects of their culture and society, including their views toward gods. Through the survived works of ancient Greeks, one can see that the concept of exchange plays a center role in the relationship between human beings and gods; and that the ancient Greeks had absolutely and undeniably respect for their gods, who are human-like and demand to be glorified.
I like the film very much. I think its one of the best films I’ve seen ever. The comedy in the film is just my humour, and the action was okay.
