A film I have seen
I’ve seen a lot of films, and with a lot of different genres. But I don’t think that romantic films are pretty good. They are too boring. The good films are action or comedy films, but the best films are action and com-edy films mixed together. That’s why I’ve chosen the film Taxi 2. It’s a French produced film, with a lot of action and comedy. It’s a pretty new film, and I saw it in the cinema last month. I’ve looked very much forward to see that film, because Taxi was very good too. It took only 5 weeks to get 10 mil-lion Frenchmen into the cinema. Just for watching Taxi 2.
The film is taking place in Paris. Samy Naceri is playing the lead-ing role as Daniel. Daniel is an illegal taxi driver, because he hasn’t any driver license. In the intro to the film he is overtaking Jean-Louis Schlesser (former worlds best rally driver) and drives a lot faster than him, because he had a woman should who bear, on the backseat. Daniel has a girlfriend called Lily. She had invited Daniel for dinner, so the parents could see him. Her fa-ther is an army man. Under the dinner the father tells some long stories about his experiences in a war. Suddenly the red telephone rings, and he had to go to the airport to meet the Japanese Minister of Defence. The father had a chauffeur who should pick him up, but the chauffeur were involved in a car accident on the way, and Daniel must drive him to the airport. In the airport Daniel meets Émilien (Frédéric Diefenthal) and Chief Inspector Gibert (Ber-nard Farcy) who he already knows from Taxi 1. The Japanese Minister of Defence was coming to France to see a French project to fight against the crime, because Japan had some problems with the yakuza (the Japanese ma-fia). The French police had planned a tour in Paris, with some planned crime factors. But the yakuza is also making a factor and is kidnapping the Japanese Minister of Defence. Then they together are trying to get the Japanese Minis-ter of Defence back. At last they succeed, and everything is fine.
I like the film very much. I think its one of the best films I’ve seen ever. The comedy in the film is just my humour, and the action was okay.
Overall I think that the show was worth seeing, even though I let my parents pick the film--which I will never do again by the way-- I think that it was a good production. It was a little boring at first, which might have just been because I didn’t really want to see it in the first place, but the storyline was pretty good. I personally like humor, so I tend to pick shows that I know will have some humor, but I’m proud of myself for seeing something outside of my comfort zone.
According to Bergner (2010) behaviour is commonly defined as an observable verbal or physical activity. To elaborate, all behaviour is describable and regarded as intentional if the person has a desire for a specific outcome or belief that the action will lead to an outcome (Bergner, 2010). For example comportment of everyday life and one’s actions towards another are all various forms behaviour; raising one’s hand before talking, deportment and manners, listening to loud music, taking turns when playing a game etc. Furthermore, based on Powell and Tod’s (2004) adapted Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Model it is evident that children’s behaviour can be directly influenced by a range of situations and interactions. These include family, culture, school, religion and the broader community. Subsequently, as children’s behaviour is influenced by these interactions and situations, what becomes acceptable behaviour in one area may be deemed unacceptable in another area; clearly identifying that behaviour is a socio-cultural construct. Bronfenbrenner (1994) illustrates this when comparing individuals carrying out an array of activities; one child may simply walk out of the classroom when they need to go to the bathroom as this is acceptable and a cultural norm, whilst another will raise their hand
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, from which this quote is taken, is a complex story written by Robert Pirsig about a narrator's inquiry into the past intellectual and personal life of the man he once was before a complete nervous breakdown caused by the futile search for the definition of the word "Quality" changed his entire life. This intricate array of flashbacks, theories, analysis, proofs and anecdotes combines the present life of the narrator, and Pheadrus, the only name given to the man's past self, during a modern day cross country motorcycle trip with the narrators son, as well as another couple who accompany them. The book, however, is merely not just a novel, but instead a "owners manual for the soul", written by Pirsig in an attempt to prevent what happened to the narrator from ever happening to the readers of this book.
Walliman, N. (2005) your research project: a step-by-step guide for the first-time researcher. 2nd ed. London: Sage Publications Ltd.
Justify your research question and explain why this topic has been chosen. Why is it significant and worthy of a discussion?
...r, this movie is lack of depth of storyline. The audiences can even predict what will happen in the next scenes. Moreover, the ending of this movie is too cheesy and irrational according to me. If only they change the ending to become more interesting and rational, I will give a four or five stars out of five. In spite of a lame twist ending, this movie is a perfect example to show that managers should be able to motivate and challenge their employee. It is important to remember that a happy employee means a productive employee.
In this essay the following will be discussed; the change from the age of classical Hollywood film making to the new Hollywood era, the influence of European film making in American films from Martin Scorsese and how the film Taxi Driver shows the innovative and fresh techniques of this ‘New Hollywood Cinema’.
The issue of gay marriage needs little introduction as it is one of the most widely contended and discussed topics in the United States of America. While the issue is relatively recent one has to question why this is even an issue to begin with. The Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the Constitution guarantees a right to same-sex marriage. Arguments come from both religious groups, as well as secular focused sources. Reasoning against gay marriage ranges from religious immorality, to the idea that giving gays the right to marry would support minoritarianism (giving minority special privileges and advantages in either a legislative or societal capacity). There are countless arguments besides those mentioned, few of which have any substantial grounds to stand on. Gay marriage causes no political or communal grief, except for those who strongly oppose it now. Even for those people gay people exist either way. Whether they are married or not will not change that and their lives will not be dramatically changed from it. Gay marriage has no valid reason to be outlawed and there are plenty of reasons to allow it.
This behaviour framework helps to identify the purpose of aggressive, social withdrawn and depression of the child’s inappropriate behaviour, and to support educators, parents and other preschool personnel to develop interventions to address her behaviour. It also focuses on recognizing cognitive, emotional and environmental factors that contributes to both non-occurrence and occurrence of her targeted behaviour (Conway, 2009). For example, as the child is not ready to wait for her turn/ failure and ends with upset, in this situation, the child’s behaviour might escalate if she learns that the inappropriate behaviour could ruins her enjoyment of the ball game. The framework helps to identify the relationship between the child’s inappropriate behaviour, and the incidents before and after which triggers her behaviour to occur again (Porter, 2007). The Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA) mainly deals with multi-method learning, problem-solving, child- centered and collection of data, this process can be conducted by observing and recording the behaviour (Conway, 2009). This plan can be developed by implementing ABC [Antecedents-Behaviour -Consequences] Model. Antecedents – recognizing action before
On February 27, 1807, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was born in Portland, Maine to Zilpah Wadsworth and Stephen Longfellow, an excellent lawyer and Congressman. Longfellow’s grandfather was General Wadsworth and he was named after his uncle on his mother’s side, Henry Wadsworth, who died while serving in the Navy. He was the second child born to a family with only one other boy, but that would soon change as he has a total of three brothers and four sisters. After Longfellow was only 7 months old, his mother wrote about his “fondness for singing and dancing” (Beebe). As a young boy, the poet loved to read and listen to stories told by the foreign sailors. Hearing the many different languages as a child must have, later on, inspired him to study foreign languages. Also, having such scholarly parents who encouraged reading at a very young age helped Longfellow discover his passion for writing. Though H.W. Longfellow enjoyed “normal boy activities”, he rather preferred reading under a tree, enjoying nature; which, presumably, is because his mother appreciated nature to a great extent.
In my own opinion I think this film is great. I think this because it
Overall, I loved the movie. It made me feel happy yet sad at the same time. I would recommend this movie to everyone who wants to see a very heart felt story of an extraordinary little girl who ends of getting the best of both
Whereas the word social media itself defines the meaning of, social of communication. Which then not only provides you information but allowing you to interact while it provides you with information. Interaction can be as simple as leaving a comment or voting on an article to as complex as recommending information base on similar interest with other users. In comparison towards traditional media, it is a ‘one-way street’ where you receive information and only be able to give your thoughts to people whom you know. While social media is a ‘two-way street’ which provides you the capability to share your personal thoughts with everyone who have not only read about it, but also people who have
