Technology is something that should be implemented in all schools, to aide with student’s achievement. However, when implementing technology into the classroom, an evaluation plan needs to be developed. Evaluation plans are written documentation that display how to monitor and evaluate your program. It also displays evaluation result for the program improvement to aides with decision making.
For implementing technology in all schools, objective based studies would be the evaluation plan that best fit this topic. While utilizing objective based studies there are several objectives that needs to be addressed; implementing technology into an everyday curriculum to help the student exemplify signs of growth, use technology in order to learn independently by using relevance and use technology to learn and retain information.
When implementing technology into an everyday curriculum it is important to make sure the students have measureable goals. For example when a student’s access Achieve 3000 online, which is a program design to aide in improving every students lexlile levels student are able to monitor their daily progress. Therefore the student are able to receive feedback to determine how efficiently the information is being delieverd. On the evaluation page all of the student daily progress is recorded and the student is able to see if they are improving. This way the student is displaying growth and learning how to use technology properly.

In urban schools that have access to technology on the daily bases are exceling on their state exams. For example, An Achievable Dream is a school that is design to give our students who are at risk of failure in school due to socioeconomic factors, a chance to succeed. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade are offered a quality education in a nurturing environment, technological support as well as the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with caring adults. This school has a student body of approximately 100% minority and 83% of these student are at an economically disadvantage. In the Subject Proficiency Test these students are exceling. Student exit exams receive grades among multiple proficiency levels established by the state. These figures displayed below shows how the school as a whole performed in different subjects.
