I come from a family who has a very close bond. For myself and my family education is
a very powerful way to success.
I spent eleven years of my life in Mexico. We moved to the United States because my
dad get a job offer and because he wanted my siblings and I to have a greater opportunity in
education. When I was about to enter sixth grade we moved to Texas because in Mexico I could
only study until eighth grade. After the eighth grade I would have to move out and pay if I want
to continue studying. My life changed in an instant because I had to leave behind everything that
I was used to. When I came to Texas it was hard for me to communicate with others because I
didn’t speak English at all. The first time I went to the school, I felt scared because I

didn’t know anyone and I saw a lot of people from different cultures and backgrounds. The first day I walked to class I was scared because I thought I wasn’t going to fit in with all the students that went to that school.
After a time, I got used to the new way of living. When I went to different schools I
learned that not everything was going to be easy in my life. My parents taught me to never give
up on what I really want to do with my life. One thing my parents’ told me that I will never
forget was “You’re here for a reason and if you really want to achieve your goals don’t let
anyone stop you from doing what you like. Life is not easy, but if you give up you will never
find out what you can really achieve in your life.” My family is always there for me no matter
how difficult the things are, they give me the strength to keep moving forward. I was glad we
had moved to the United States because I have more chances to continue my education.
I’m the oldest one of one sister and two brothers and I want be the first to graduate
from high school and attend college. I want to be the first one of my family to graduate and
attend college because I want to show my siblings that everything is possible if you try your best. Besides setting an example for them and leave other comments behind to follow their dreams.
My parents had always wanted me to have a career. I want to be a nurse and I’m trying my
best to achieve it. My parents told me that no matter what others say or think I should always fight for my goals and prove others that I can do more than what they think I can do. I’m doing this because it’s also my parents goal to see me getting a career. I want my dream of being a nurse to come true one day. My family and I believe that education could bring me a lot more opportunities. My family is my strength to achieve what I want to because without them I wouldn’t have anyone to motivate me to keep going forward.
Unlike other people, I came to the US without any special reasons, except for the
I also hope to help as many people around me at the same time so that they may have the life that they need. I wish to gain the skills needed to work with people as well as learning fast so that I am able to take on tasks without much difficulty. I want this to be a time to grow and find a place for myself in this life so that I can do as much good as possible. I expect to accomplish my high school degree with the highest gpa possible from where I am at in my schooling. I expect to learn valuable life skills that I can share with others in my life.
It all started in high school, as a person, I was far from being responsible. School was just a place to meet friends, spent most of my time playing around, and never thought about the future. But gradually, my parents were getting worried about me. One night, I was in my room when they called, and asked me to go to the living room. I looked at their faces and I knew that we were going to have a serious conversation, and I was right. They tried to give me an advice, an advice on how time flies and I never had the ability to turn it back. That life was about making the right decision, and there were options and opportunities presented to me. Whether they were good or bad, I need to think of what was best for me and made a decision on which options or opportunities I would take, so I had not regretted my decision later on in my life. When I heard this, I realized that all this time, I had been wasting time playing around and I need to think about the future. For a couple of days, I was weighing my option left and right about what to do after graduated. Should I go straight to...

Coming from a small family were most aren't able to actually pursue their career goals, I've the determination to be the first in the family to actually go and pursue my goal no matter how hard it might get, especially when it comes to financially being able to get my self through school. I had the advantage of going to Jack E Singley Academy, a public magnet school which they helped students like my self go into the field they desire at an early stage and help us obtain hands on experience within that field. Being in the Medical program in Singley helped me decided what i really wanted to do with my life and it actually helped me want to reach my goals even more. I would hope to someday become an ER Doctor, and of course that will take several
I didn’t have a lot growing up but I my parents made sure we always have what we needed. My mother and father always wanted me to get an engineer or a business degree. They wanted to be able to make more money and become more successful than they ever were. When I showed an interest in history and psychology in high school I knew they would be disappointed in me. I never cared about making money, I knew I wanted to be able to make a living doing something that I was passionate about. One day I hope to get my degree in social work and do just that. One of my favorite sayings is that if you enjoy what you do you will never work a day in your life written by Confucius.
Weather I have to go to school for many more years. I very much have faith in myself. I was always taught to believe in myself. To believe that I actually have a meaning in this chaotic world. And as long as I believe that I have a purpose, I will always look forward and never back. I will keep my head up, and keep my eyes on the prize. Along the way, I may face some challenges, just like everyone else does. Things such as being stressed out on a daily basis. Which makes everything so much harder. But I have a very supportive family and tons of positive vibes around me. The one person that I can honestly say that keeps me going, is my grandfather. He has been so supportive of me ever since I was a mini me. And he’s still going till this day. He’s had my back since day one. You have no idea how proud I am to call him mine. He is the main reason why I will stay true to my belief. I would be upset in myself if i just gave up my dreams. But because of the potential that he sees in me. His inspiring words have struck me deep down and they got stuck. He says all the right things at the right times, and he doesn’t sugar coat things because in the real world, there’s no such thing as sugar coating. But my desideratum will help me accomplish so much in

I have never given up on my dreams just like my parents never did. They worked hard to support us everyday and they never backed down. No matter how tough our lives got they always kept moving forward. I praise my parents for their hard work and never giving up. I don’t get mad because they work late anymore. I don’t blame them for anything that may have made me feel alone when I was younger even in a house full of kids. They always tried their best to give us everything we needed. We never went without anything of importance. Through all of the fights, the disagreements, and my hard headed ways I will always support, and be there for my parents. Just like they were there for us. My family is everything to
During my life, I have learned many things that I’m either expected to do or know. My family and friends have impacted my life in multiple ways that have shaped me as a person over time. These values that my family has taught me has made me the person I am today and most likely the person I will be for the rest of my life.
