I have learned a lot with what I have read from researching and even though some are just confirmation of what I believe, there are certain things that are new to me. All these years I had been selfish and shallow, and I didn't put anything else into consideration but myself, but this task opened my eyes that greater things are waiting and I am not the only one who's gonna work for it and benefit in the end.

My first article for this blog post is written by Aurora Harklute in "Why Kids Should Start Basketball at a Young Age," from Live Strong. She mentioned that, if you want children to be busy and if you to get rid of them out of your homes and let them go out, basketball is the key for that. There are certain people that would say that you wouldn't understand having kids someday, unless you have one. I totally disagree, for in my point of view, we were kids at one point in our life and if we didn't go through all that awkward stage, it's either we're immortal or we're not from this planet. Learning the basics of basketball is good because it is the fundamentals of the sport and if the ropes can't be taught to you, at one point or another it will be, whether it is liked or no.

My second article for this blog post is written by Judy Wang in "6 Health Benefits of Basketball for Children," from North Shore Pediatric Therapy, wherein the author discussed these 6 things briefly and properly. The six health benefits are, endurance, motor control, ankle stability, balance, coordination, agility and social skills. Each item was explain on how it is considered to health beneficial. These health benefits are really helpful without a doubt and I can attest to that
