I plan on looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge, skills, and abilities in many ways. Professional, as an RN, I plan on obtaining the knowledge it takes to be a great RN. I plan on learning how to make decisions to save people’s lives, how to properly interact with families and friends of my patients. I am going to be looking for new opportunities that will help me learn and grow, such as extra teachings, classes, and learning from other people’s experiences. I have already made a major decision this semester. I was going to go for my associates in nursing but I have decided to go for my bachelors. By doing this I am continuing my learning. It is only two more year, I will have more knowledge to provide better care to my patients. During one of my QEP activities I voted, and this year’s election opened my eyes on where the United States is headed. I plan on voting any chance I get to let my voice be heard. …show more content…

After I get my degree and start working I plan on attended continuing education courses to keep me well informed on new technology and new procedures. My academic goals do not last through college, I plan on learning past college to grow on a personal level. My professional goals include to be a good RN. I have a couple of specialties in mind but have not made an official decision. My goal is to make an impact on other people’s lives. I want little children to look at me and say I want to be a nurse when I grow up; or have one of my patients tell me that I influenced them some kind of way. My life goals are to be a great citizen to my country, to finish school, get married (only once) to the love of my life, have beautiful children, and retire.
