I think I would be a worthy recipient of this bursary because I have spent my time at Almaguin volunteering for anything I could. I love to be involved within the community and helping out wherever I can. I believe I am a good example of a student who is committed to themselves, and furthering their education so they can strive to achieve the goals the set out. But also of a student who is hardworking, and driven in each and every aspect of their lives. I am loyal to my school, and workplace, as well as hardworking. I've been working for Danny Galekovic for just about 4 years, and in that time, not only have I come out of those years with valuable lessons on customer service, and with a renewed sense of work ethic and drive. Not only as individual,
I believe that there are many reasons that I am well qualified to receive this “Courage to Grow” scholarship. One main point would be my excellence in leadership and community service. I currently serve as senior class Vice President and President of the Future Teachers of America club at Auburn High School. I am a class representative for our Student Council and am very involved with the children’s ministry at my local church, serving as a Kids Camp counselor and VBS assembly leader. Another reason I believe I should receive this scholarship is for my outstanding academic achievements. I have been inducted into the National Honors Society, Spanish National Honors Society and the Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honors Society. I have also received
I have overheard many other teachers saying positive things about Alejandra as well. My colleagues have praised her resilience to challenges, her diligence in all of her subjects, her determination to complete tasks, her fun-loving spirit, attention to detail, and her positive attitude, just to name a few. Students speak highly of her too. She is an effective communicator, a leader, a world citizen, and overall a dynamic person. I have witnessed Alejandra flourish in her academic life and personal life over the last few years. The effort Alejandra has put into her public education coupled with her generous and kindhearted personality will make her an incredibly valuable asset to any university. I highly recommend Alejandra Galaviz for this scholarship!
My goal since my toddler years has been to be a hero. Today, I cannot envision myself doing anything else. My long-term goal since the beginning of high school has been to contribute to the biomedical sciences, whether it is as a researcher, a surgeon, or a clinical physician. I aspire to make change, even the smallest improvement in anyone’s life.
Over all, I believe I embody the type of person this foundation is trying to help through this scholarship. This scholarship would mean the world to me and my family, it would help me achieve all my goals and dreams. I am confident that I am a Strong Candidate for the HSF Scholarship, and I believe I am very well rounded in all aspects of the requirements. Thank you for conserving my
I, Hope Turnbull, am a Senior of Stockton High School in Stockton Kansas. My plans consist of attending North Central Kansas Technical College starting Fall 2016, where I want to begin my study of nursing. Due to me having all of my general education courses finished upon my college arrival, I have been accepted into the first year Nursing Program (LPN). I believe that I deserve this scholarship due to me excelling in my education at a very young age. My grades are earned as A’s and B’s in school.
I would benefit from this scholarship because not only would it help with the cost of my tuition, but the support will also help lessen my worries about my finances. This scholarship will help my parents as well since they are helping me with my college education. During the past two months and currently, my dad has been in the hospital due to having pancreatitis. In August when he was introduced with it, he went into septic shock and that day he had coded seven times. It is a miracle that he is with my family still, and with the support of this scholarship, it would help out a lot due to the medical bills that my family has. As in the past, I will work
Feel I qualify for this scholarship because I love to help people. Through different experiences, such as sports and school, I have learned and demonstrated various leadership skills. Being a Link crew leader not only taught me how to be a leader but, it help me have faith in myself and to always look up to younger people. I joined link crew so I could help our new 10 graders find their way around, and to feel included and accepted at their new school. For example during orientation in august I was giving good amount of advice to my sophomore group to be able to survive high school since I am a senior this year This made me proud and humbled that I could make a huge impact in someone's life. Another reason is I am good at organization and
I feel I am a great candidate for this award. I without any doubt will follow through and achieve the goals I not only set for myself but also the goals and responsibilities of being chosen to receive such an honor. I have a passion for learning and a strong focus on my education. I have no distractions to disrupt my growth in this journey. I want to succeed and give back to those along the way, this scholarship and any other will give me the missing piece that I need to continue on my path.
With all of the downfalls that I have experienced in my academic and personal life, a college education will make it possible for me to continue my journey into becoming a prestigious corporate lawyer. I have the drive for success and I am certain that with this scholarship I will be able to pay off my debt and help my mother with her own educational goals. I was content that I was able to encourage her to attend school and I am most fortunate to be given an opportunity to help both her and myself achieve our ultimate goals for the near future.
I am a great candidate for this scholarship because I have been an active member through my FFA Chapter since my freshman year of high school by participating in community service activities and FFA competitions. Without the guidance
I choose to challenge myself by taking honors and AP classes. I can overcome obstacles that stand in my way and persevere through tough problems. I participate in school through my involvement in Student Council as an Executive Treasurer, Key Club as an active member, Varsity Tennis, Science Club, Band as Section Leader and National Honor Society. As well as in school, I help out in my community, whether it’s at my church, as a volunteer at the Bitterroot Public Library, or helping to preserve the Daly Mansion. If I am awarded this scholarship, I will use it towards college tuition and I will work hard to pursue my career as an
The ultimate reason I deserve this scholarship is because I won’t disappoint you. I am very hardworking and I like to take on challenges. Getting this scholarship would help me achieve my dream.
I deserve this 25,000 dollars because I am a car guy and i need money to start a small business. I love to buy, fix, and sell vehicles. My whole life i have been working on vehicles and if i had this money then i would be able to fulfill my dreams. I will spend this money on used cars that have been either wrecked or just quit working, see what exactly is wrong with it, fix it and then sell it for more than it was to buy the car and the amount the cost was for the parts.
I have been able to acquire and earn substantial positions of employment in the past decade without a degree. However, to fully apply my skills and continue advancement in my career a degree is a requirement. I have been able to advance quickly within a company because of my work ethic and dependability. I have great recommendations from my previous employers. However, I felt I had come to a standstill with the company.
Why am I interested in this educational opportunity? The bullies tried to tear me down, they failed. My whole life I've been a victim to bullies, which resulted in me becoming an introvert. However, I applaued the bullies.
