I have been able to acquire and earn substantial positions of employment in the past decade without a degree. However, to fully apply my skills and continue advancement in my career a degree is a requirement. I have been able to advance quickly within a company because of my work ethic and dependability. I have great recommendations from my previous employers. However, I felt I had come to a standstill with the company. I had obtained the highest position I could with the education and experience I have. I was very successful in business management, even without a degree, but my passion was teaching and training. It was always my favorite part of being a general manager. I enjoy helping others acquire new skills and seeing them use them to excel. I have a boyfriend and coworkers who have recently earned their degrees online while working. They have been extremely helpful and informative. I feel through witnessing their experiences I am more aware of what to expect. I now have a very low stress contract job that I am very passionate about, a stable income, and more time for study. My former employer has even stated that I am always welcome to return to the company. With these factors of stability and my increased self-management skills I know my success is imminent. No matter what happens my degree is priority. It is the key to my future. I also have an office in my apartment dedicated as an area of study, so I will have a quiet private space to clear my thoughts and focus on the task at hand. I have at least two hours a day Monday through Friday to work on my studies. I have an hour and a half of free time starting at noon. In the evening, I will be able to study from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm. Also, I am completely free on weekends which will allow me to dedicate as many hours as needed to my
