If I had the time to learn how to do one skill I would choose photography. I have always loved photography. In second grade my teacher told my class to take pictures that describe our life and I was so excited. I took pictures of everything. My house, my family, my dogs, the place where I took dance, and more. After that I was obsessed with taking pictures and I asked for a new camera for Christmas every year. There are multiple reasons why I love taking pictures, but the main reason is because I love nature. If someone were to look on my phone they would see close to 7000 pictures worth of my friends, my family, and nature (but mostly nature). Every time I see a sunset, or a mountain, or a flower I like to take a picture of it so I can constantly be reminded of God's beauty. …show more content…
I am about to have my senior pictures taken and I am excited, and not to necessarily get pictures taken of me, but to see what the photographers different techniques are. One of the reasons I am excited for college is because I get to choose what I'm interested in and be able to take a class on it. I would definitely take a photography class so I would be able to learn how to take pictures the right way and know what angle or lighting would make the picture look even more beautiful. If I learn how to take pictures the right way instead of just on my phone, then I would never put a camera down. If I had the time to learn how to do one skill I would choose photography. I have always loved photography. In second grade my teacher told my class to take pictures that describe our life and I was so excited. I could make a living doing what I love by either becoming a doctor or engineer. I love helping people and I could achieve that by becoming a doctor. If I was a doctor I could help create medicine to aide injured or sick people by using bioengineering. I could also do what I love by becoming an engineer though. I love being able to figure out which pieces go together, but I also
I enjoy taking radiographs the most because when I first started dental assisting I wasn't very good at it. For some reason even though I've taken a hiatus from assisting, I always come out with a very nice picture. It makes me feel really good knowing that I still got it!
Along with my passion for photography, comes a love for cooking. I really enjoy attending the culinary arts
What led you into photography? Was it something you always been interested in or you stumble into it?
the world, which is perfect for me since I would love to be able to
Think about the last time you went somewhere exciting and did not have a camera or a picture-capturing device. How did that make you feel? In “On Photography,” the essay by Susan Sontag, she challenges how the uses of photography have developed between the invention of the camera in the 1800s and the time this essay was written in 1977, by juxtaposing different topics and ideas. She delves into how photography makes people feel and the plethora of uses, all which depend on the person. Finally, Sontag states that photography lets people show their experiences to others through their own point of view. Through her cynical words, she forces readers to feel a negative emotion towards photography. Sontag states pathos-charged

The well-known 1994 film Leon: The Professional portrays epic scenes of drama and suspense; however, a valuable scene towards the end of the film focuses on dominance & power, exclusively between two men: Leon & Stansfield. Through the use of semiotics, mainly visual and audio, in the cinema the producers are able to direct viewers to a specific view of dominance. After watching the specific clip and analyzing with the use of semiotic techniques, there is a definite conclusion that can be drawn: certain situations are seen in a light by which we think one individual possesses all the power when, in fact, that is erroneous. At first glance, one notices that from the very beginning of the scene it is clear Stansfield is dressed in business attire: a crisp tan suit accompanied by a button down and belt with a fairly clean face. As a result, the
Well, since Nico took me with him to some Rallies I fell in love with motorsport and with photography too. So, I bought the necessary equipment to start with photography. And it’s getting more a passion for me and I can’t think to stop because it’s so much fun
There are a lot of people that specialize in different fields. The field I would love to specialize is Criminal Justice. Criminal Justice is a very important field that is always in need of people to study in. The reason why our field is in need in the community is because of the constant rise of crime, criminals, and habitual offenders. The reason why I would love Criminal Justice is because I would love to give back to my community, the lack of law enforcement, and also make a change to the field and the offices of law enforcement.
Photography is one of the most creative ways to express yourself. Photography was not only invented but created over and over again as time has passed and it has greatly transformed over time. Not only the processes of the image, but the way that cameras have developed, but also the way the film has been printed. You would not believe the things people can do with photography now.
... and cherished for the amazing things they can do so easily. Today, cameras are so abundant and accessible, that anyone can become a photographer. Photography has even become an international sport of capturing an image in an amazing and unique way. Photographers use the settings of the camera and their own imagination to take beautiful and stunning photographs. Ernst Haas says “There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.” When you learn how your camera functions and learn to adjust everything to get a great picture, that’s when the real photography starts.
The 21st century has brought about the age of the selfie, the foodie Instagram account, and capturing every moment of one’s day on Snapchat. When looking at the technology available today, one can’t help but be amazed with the progress that has been made. When most people think of photography, ancient Greece is not the first thing that comes to mind, but the basic principles of the camera can be traced back to the fifth and fourth century BC both in China and Greece. Isaac Newton’s discovery of the colors that make up white light led to additional advancements in the 1660’s. Johann Heinrich Schulze made further progress in 1727 when he discovered that silver nitrate darkens upon exposure to light.
