In today’s technological world, almost everybody, every day, in one way or another accesses the world wide web upon our fingertips. The technology that allows us to do so is just as important as the water we drink, the food we eat and the homes that shelter us from the outside. We’ve become so attached to it that it's difficult to give up, even for a short period of time. it's become such a problem that students are no longer able to maintain focus on a diverse agenda of daily routines and tasks. Students are finding difficulty staying on task, whether it be their homework, job or even paying attention in class. it affects almost every aspect of their life including how well they do in school. This is why Students should attend at least two hours a day of supervised homework class. Some may argue that a homework class would be time consuming. There's only a limited amount of time in a day and an extra two hour class would indeed be time consuming. However; there are many pros of having a homework class that outweigh the cons. Some students schedules are too busy as it is. Many balance extra-curriculars such as sports and music with a job, school, and social activities. There is just no way that squeezing in an extra class into their already busy schedule would be helpful. But, there is enough time. A homework class would only be acting as a substitute for the time spent at home doing homework! So instead of having set aside time for one's homework later on in the night, they will be given the opportunity to get it done in school. I personally know people that simply cannot sit down with the ambition and motivation to go through the miniscule task of doing their homework. They'd rather spend their valuable time browsing the endless list of funny cat videos, playing video games or going to frat parties than laying out and opening up their textbooks to chapter 6 for last night's homework. a few students don't even have the motivation to even do their homework unless it's utterly necessary and crucial that they do so. instead of studying or preparing weeks before an important exam, he or she would be procrastinating. The test isn't even on their list of important things to do and if it is, then it's all the way at the bottom of their checklist. It's only when the time has come around to where it's days before the test and there are no other options but to sit down and crunch out what should have been done weeks ago. The idea of a supervised homework class would ultimately force students to do their homework without an issue, giving them the motivation and the key to success to get whatever task that has to get done, done. When a person with the right set of mind and in a room without distractions sits down on an empty desk with nothing but the textbooks and notebooks, the goal and intention to work is the only focus there
