(US Climate Data, 2016) Tourists visit Michigan more in summer because of the scenic beauty of the great lakes of Michigan, however people who like winter sports visit Michigan in the winter because Michigan has more activities, such as 42 ski areas more except New York state in the USA. As in summer snow related sports are not available, but most people go for camping, play football, golf and soccer. Moreover, summer holidays are longer than winter or winter break for students. People get more time to enjoy summer than winter. In winter, skiing, snowmobiling and ice luge are the most popular activities. Whereas winter sports are not played in summer.
