One great thing about the university is that there are plenty of fun classes and activities planned during the summer. Some students, for example, choose to take classes in swimming or disc golf during the summer. In many instances, these types of classes may be required as an elective,
Hi, I am here to talk you about the pros and cons of driving in the summer and winter. The reason I say that is because I have been hearing different opinions about driving in the winter is better than driving in the summer, and of course, driving in the summer is better than driving in the winter. Although, it depends on what you are driving in and how you drive when driving. I say that because you could drive in the winter and still be cold because you did not turn on your heat. On the other hand, you could drive in the summer and still be hot if you do not let down any windows and or turn on the ac.
A student at Ste. Genevieve High School even expressed how she needs the summer break to unwind and not have to care about studying for a class when school would return to session. Another reason students may oppose this change is due to the fact High School students may hold summer jobs to earn some spending money. In certain instances, the year-round calendar may prevent students from holding these jobs or holding them for extended periods of time. One more reason students may disapprove of year-round education is because of extracurricular activities, and how they will be changed or shifted. New teachers can be affected in many ways. Unlike teachers who work in traditional school districts, they do not have the long summer to prepare and acquaint themselves for the forthcoming school year. Along with preparing lessons and assignments, teachers would not be able to take their own vacations and prepare for school
The first group will be divided into two subgroups: the general student body and student athelete. Student athletes that are out of season generally play inmurals to stay competive and active during their off seasons. We would like to target them, because they are naturally drawn to competion and may provide a fan base due to player’s standing with the fans. We would like to aim at the general student body as providing oppurtinty to relax, de-stress, and entertainment on campus.

During Summer break children can enjoy more unstructured time and families can go on vacations. Summer seems to be a large block of time that parents and kids can use to take a breather...But, there is a shadow that often hovers over this lengthy break - a shadow commonly called the summer slide.

I have often wondered what it would be like to experience the freedom of choosing my own class schedule. This has to be infinitely more stimulating and enjoyable. I am also aware that college will be significantly more challenging, but I have always found it easier to study for a class that interests me. I am willing to accept the fact that as long as I am in school, there will be required courses which may not engender excitement or enthusiasm; however, success should not be as difficult to achieve due to the maturity that is developing during this last year of high school. In addition, I have gained an understanding of the benefit of being well rounded. There is value in all classes taken. It helps to know that even my least favorite subject will contribute to the ultimate goal of personal and career development.
There is not much to do during spring break in Smallville except for going out and making your own fun. Now what I mean by that is you can have good fun. For example, you can go bowling, have a party or just chill out with your friends. Then there is bad fun. For example, go egging or buy paintball guns and shoot stuff.
Summer reading is given to students every year. It is an assignment handed out which is to be completed by the time school starts next year. It is compiled of a list of books in which one must be chosen and read. The assignment also includes a project, usually one that requires time and effort that must be completed as well.
and they even gave suggestions what would more interesting for them to learn about if more classes were offered at variety of times. We found this question to be good in terms of collecting needed information. The data collected from this question can be helpful in offering a better and revised program.
To help students want to go to school all year long, they can get involved in different activities they enjoy. For example, if a student likes to play sports, then the school should let that student join a sports team. I think letting students join programs and do different activi...
As many districts have found, it is not feasible to add more subjects to the already demanding six or seven period days. The problem in doing so is that there is limited time for electives. Administrators began to find that adding classes only took away time from other parts of the curriculum that were previously established.

Summer vacation is legendary. An integral part of American culture, it is loved by students and loathed by parents. Its influence stretches as far as the economy and media of the country. Nevertheless, such a famed part of American educational customs is unnecessary and even detrimental to students. Its institution hinders learning and it can have a damaging effect on the families and students involved.
My favorite season of the year is summer because of the warm weather, the school vacation, and the endless fun. I really enjoy the warm weather because it’s the perfect atmosphere to do outdoor activities. My favorite part about summer has to be the fact that school is closed for two months. During summer, you’re free to do whatever you want, not worrying about curfew or waking up early for school. Summer time is a great time to relax with friends and family by soaking up the sun at a beach or simply having dinner together.
