Debra Rathwell is the Senior VP for AEG Live. Rathwell oversees the active New York office of AEG along with being a force in national touring. Rathwell has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and her dedication inspires me. I know she is well respected in the industry and I think it is impressive that she books on average 800 shows every year. Being a woman in the music industry is a big challenge, but Rathwell proves to me and the world that being hard working will help prove yourself. The first step that really started Rathwell’s career was during her last year at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. Rathwell was Harvey Glatt’s assistant and went on to work as Bass Clef Entertainment, which partnered on shows with Canada’s concert leaders. This introduced Rathwell to the industry and the rest was like a snowball effect, one job led to another. Another step Rathwell took in her career was pivotal was joining Donald Tarlton for 12 years at DKD. With DKD, Rathwell managed a staff ...

A. Before we used to use DIBLES to identify students but we just recently switched to AIMSWEB. AIMSWEB is a universal screening, progress monitoring and data management system that supports Response to Intervention and tiered instruction. AIMSWEB allows us to look at all the students and see the ones who are most at risk and the ones who are least at risk and provides us with benchmark scores for each child. After we test a student we then put their scores into our computer system and it generates a main score for us, which is very nice because then we do not have to do the math ourselves. Then after we get the students score, we then decided if the student is in either Tier 1, 2, or 3. Before we had five reading specialists in the building so every 30 minutes we would pull out students and test them. With our primary kids we worked on letters and sounds and for our kids who were in grades third through sixth, we would help them prepare for the PSSA’s. As of last May, we do not do targeted assistance and are now a school wide title. We now help all the students in the whole school and are not just targeting the ones with IEPS. All three of our elementary buildings are going to the Multi-Tier Intervention (MTI). Our Intervention

According to Holmes, T (2013), “a high-performance team is a group of interdependent individuals who work together in a specific manner to achieve a common objective.” High-performance teams are differentiated according to their knack to operate at high levels for long spans of time and with efficiency and effectiveness. Teams like this can come in different forms and proportions. Also there are no perfect team models that will fit every organization, but there are many basic traits that appear to reinforce most high-performance teams. As stated in the Holy Bible, Hebrews 10:24-25, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
