In the city of mexico where it had not snowed in forever, there lived a 6 year old little girl named Anna she was catholic she was an innocent little girl but, not like any other little girl she was different. On a Friday night after a long day at school she came home and was so tired she fell asleep praying to the virgin mary. Whenever she was feeling down she always prayed to the virgin mary which is jesus’s mother she was like a goddess to her. She strongly cared about her beliefs especially when it came to the virgin mary. The virgin mary is caring, kind and emotional just like any other human being. But she had this thing when she would cry it would either be rain, snow, etc.. it was powerful The virgin mary was as powerful as jesus. The virgin mary had all these little baby children with her she was sending them up to the sky fast I don’t know why. I was confused of what to do. She was whispering saying things that I couldn’t really understand all of a sudden their was a thunderstorm. I was scared she started dropping tears but, then wiped them off and stood her head tall. All of a sudden, Satan was trying to get those innocent children he was trying to take them from her but, she Suddenly Anna wakes up sweating and breathing heavily. It was all a dream! She looked outside her window and saw snowflakes she smiled while she was still sweating she was so happy it finally snowed oh yeah and in her dream it says when she completely takes over satan that's when she will cry tears of joy and they’ll freeze when they get to the bottom and turn into snowflakes. Even though my dream was crazy it happened. It showed me and has me thinking a lot I believe
Jacopo del Sellaio’s Virgin, Child, and St. John is a characteristically iconographic tempera panel painting of Madonna, the Christ Child, and the infant St. John from the early renaissance, dating to the early 1480s. Sellaio was a Florentine painter under the apprenticeship of Sandro Botticelli, which reflects through his style and symbolism in the painting. In this work, he depicts a classically devotional scene filled with biblical symbolism. The whole reason why Bigger doesn’t see what happened to Mary as an accident is because it was what helped him apparently find a sole purpose; as if what happened was what needed to happen in his life. After the death of Mary, Bigger saw it as a way of giving the whites what they deserve as he slowly gained a high sense of invincibility and masculinity. Bigger’s motivation was the way he viewed white America. He convinced himself that his whole life was meant for him to accomplish that one thing. Even if it was by accident, it gave him a clear cut purpose he didn’t have before.

Tradition of the Community: Starting in the Middle Ages, there were the first written accounts of visions of the Virgin Mary, but as the time moved into the Reformation Age, the visions of Mary became more and more frequent. The most well-known vision that took place during the Reformation when Mary appeared to Juan Diego of Guadalupe, Mexico in 1531.There were many reported miracles in the town that seemed to point to a divine being helping, for example, the roses in the middle of winter, an uncle miraculously cured of a deadly illness, and the image of the Virgin Mary on Juan’s tunic. This vision led to the spread of Christianity to the western hemisphere, and the fact that Mary was speaking Juan’s native language seemed to bring about the belief that Mary is truly the Mother of all Christians and the mediator of the word of God to common people. With many people claiming to have seen the Virgin Mary, masses began to participate in the tradition of praying directly to Mary in addition to attending church.
