The Virgin Mary is celebrated and loved throughout the world. She is the image we all women and child look up to and pray. She was born without original sin and throughout her years she never sinned and that's why she considered the Mother of God. “Mary is what it looks like to believe that we already are who God says we are,” (Weber, Nadia Bolz.).
St. Anne and Joachim were Mary’s parent and gave birth to one of the two children without Original Sin. Mary was left, as a fulfillment of a divine promise left, in a Temple at Jerusalem(“Saints Anne and Joachim.”). The angel Gabriel came down to Heaven and told Mary that, “you have found grace with God,” and “you shall conceive in your womb, and you shall bear a son,”(Catholic Public

Domain Version.). Mary could have been stoned to death because she was pregnant, and Joseph knew the baby wasn’t his. So instead of telling the official, he quietly tried to divorce her; an angel came down to Joseph, and in the end, they married each other. As a mother she took care of Jesus throughout his life, and loved him no matter what happened; therefore, as a mother, she experienced her son dying before she did, and even then she didn’t turn away from God. The Virgin Mary never died, but ascended into Heaven body and soul. There have been many citing of the Virgin Mary, but only 12 have been confirmed. One is when the Virgin Mary appears in Mexico to Juan Diego. She asks Diego to ask the bishop to build a temple and lives a picture of herself on his tilma to show the bishop proof(“Home.”). The tima should have decayed twenty years from then, but still shows no sign of decay(“Home.”). The tilma has even had nitric acid spilled on it and a dozen dynamites, and has came out fine and intact(Sewell, Matthew). Mary is celebrated in many ways. In Italy, they have colorful fireworks, and in places in Rome, they have a bowing procession(). In many countries Christian have the crowning of Mary; the crowning of Mary is when flowers are placed at Mary’s feet, and she is crowned. In Brazil they have a feast called the “Nosa Senhora dos Navegantes,”(“Assumption of Mary.”). “Pageants are held on decorated canoes, each carrying a captain, a purser, three musicians, and two rowers,”(“Assumption of Mary.”). Mary is our mother and she an example for everyone that sees her. Her life in all, and the miracles and citings she had made shows why she was celebrated.“Always stay close to this Heavenly Mother , because she is the sea to be crossed to reach the shores of eternal splendour,”(Editor, ChurchPOP.) “Assumption of Mary.” Timeanddate.com, www.timeanddate.com/holidays/common/assumption.

She allows us to understand the duality of God. This concept was not new. The Old Testament prophets portrayed God as a loving mother nurturing, caressing, and comforting her children. Isaiah invokes God in labor giving birth while Psalms compares the femininity of the body and the creator.
Jacopo del Sellaio’s Virgin, Child, and St. John is a characteristically iconographic tempera panel painting of Madonna, the Christ Child, and the infant St. John from the early renaissance, dating to the early 1480s. Sellaio was a Florentine painter under the apprenticeship of Sandro Botticelli, which reflects through his style and symbolism in the painting. In this work, he depicts a classically devotional scene filled with biblical symbolism. Sellaio’s Virgin, Child, and St. John expresses Mary’s loving role as Christ’s mother, the protective power and warmth of her maternal bond, and the significance of the birth of Christ.
That was the beginning of Our Blessed Mother at Fatima. She visited the children six times bringing them messages for the world. In all Her appearances at Fatima, Our Mother repeatedly emphasized the necessity of praying the Rosary daily, of wearing the Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel and of performing acts of reparation and sacrifice.
From birth, Jesus of Nazareth was known to be special, something the world had never seen. The legendary birth, his mother being the Virgin Mary, that night in the manger in Bethlehem presented the world with the man who would become known as the Messiah, the one who, according to Christianity, would rescue the world and offer it everlasting life. Jesus knew of his calling and his holy purpose on Earth. While Mary and her husband, Joseph, a carpenter, raised Jesus as a child, much is not known of the early life of Jesus through scripture, or accounted for through historical evidence. It is not...

St. Cecilia was believed to be born in 2nd century Rome. She was an only child in a wealthy Roman family, was well-educated, and had been a devout Christian from early in her childhood. Cecilia had vowed her virginity to God, but she was promised in marriage to a pagan man named Valerian. She wore sackcloth, fasted, and prayed to the saints and angels hoping to keep her promise to God. On their wedding night, Cecilia informed Valerian that an angel guarded her body and that Valerian must not disrespect her vow of virginity. Her prayers were answered, and Valerian was willing to take her as his wife without forcing her to break her vow. Her husband wanted to see the angel that guarded her, but Cecilia told him that he would need to be baptized in order to do so. Valerian went to be baptized by Pope Urban, and returned to Cecilia as a Christian. When he returned, he saw Cecilia praying in her bedroom. Next to her was an angel with flaming wings, and he was holding two crowns of rose and lilies. He crowned both and them, and then vanished.
Mary was the daughter of King Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon, (Master) “Mary I Queen of England” states that Mary was “the only child born to Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon to survive childhood.” Mary grew up as the center of attention for many many years and had a very good childhood as the young princess. although her childhood was good, her parents did get a divorce declaring her as a bastard child, taking away her royal title as princess. That didn't stop her though, she did restore her title and became the first queen of inheritance ever. (Master) Protestant propaganda has slandered the name of Mary, giving her the terrifying and misleading nickname “Bloody Mary”.

Jesus Christ is worshiped around the world as being the savior of all mankind. His birth was a miracle because he was born from a virgin. Taken from the Holy Bible, in Matthew 1:18-25, it states that Mary (the virgin) was to marry Joseph, but before they were married, she found out she was pregnant with the Son of God. Joseph was a man of good morals and was ashamed when he heard of Mary being with child. He planned to divorce her in private so she wouldn't be disgraced. An angel from God came to Joseph in a dream and told him, "'Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.'" Joseph awakened and obeyed the angel of God, and He and Mary were married. "But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus."

Mary of Bethany did what she believed was right and also was able to mourn with Christ. When Martha wanted to make the stay of Jesus as perfect
Mary is a perfect influence for us here on earth, as well as Jesus and many other people in bible stories. In fact, there are many bad influences, yes, but if you get yourself with the right people, you may have nothing, but great
as well as how God has chosen Mary “above the women of all nations” (3.42). Similarly the Gospel by Luke shows the angel Gabriel visiting Mary and telling
“The heretic Nestorius claimed that Mary was merely the mother of the ‘Christ’ or the ‘Christokos,’ but this view was deemed heretical at the Council of Ephesus in 431,” Horn said. “Mary was not the mother of a man who later became divine, but she was instead the mother of one of the persons of the Trinity.” The catechism states, “In fact, the One whom she conceived as man by the Holy Spirit, who truly became her Son according to the flesh, was none other than the Father’s eternal Son, the second person of the Holy Trinity”
Mary is well known for being the mother of Jesus Christ, but Mary has a much larger purpose that is still active in this very moment and still in the future. I think that Mary is a loving, graceful person ever since she step foot on this earth for many reasons and the entire world changed after that and forever because she showed her presence and now I will give my personal opinion of her and what she does to make earth a better place.
