People say high school is supposed to be the golden years of your life. I don’t know what else in life is to come; however, my philosophy is to live in the moment and make the life you’re living in the present worthwhile into the future, not only for you but for those who surround you. I live my life participating in our community and getting involved in our school. The activities, and the people I’ve formed relationships with, are what have formed me into the person I have become today. The person I am today is not perfect, but I have learned from the mistakes I’ve made. I think the sense of maturity I have developed throughout my life has given me the determination to be the best person I can be. That being said, I would love to be inducted into the National Honor Society and not only represent our school, but represent our generation to the community not as a “selfie” generation but as a generation, with great potential.
As a student in Greater Lawrence Technical school my ultimate goal was to become a member of National Honors Society. From the very start I knew I had the potential to become who I wanted to be. Being seen as a person who can be National honors society member has made me so happy and realize I can really go for more in life! They sky's the limit. I always had honor roll and wanted to push myself for more than what I knew I could do. I asked teachers and guidance counselors how to get into NHS and if they believed I was eligible for National Honor Society. They said with your outstanding character, motivation and dedication to help others is how!
I was told that being recognized by the school board was a great accomplishment for the school; it enabled the school to receive more funding for repairs, and clubs, etcetera. Competing was not only amazing for myself, but it helped those around me as well, and I couldn’t have asked for a better senior year. Russell Mark once said, “Competing at the highest level is the greatest test of one's character.” That being said, I do agree with his quote; people do show that there is a different side of themselves when
I’m a Freshman at Eaton Rapids High School, and I have a lot of goals for these next few years. First off, later this year I am running for class president. I have always wanted to give back and lead my class. Also, next year I want to join the football and baseball teams to get more fit. I have already started to train every day. Later in High school I also hope to get accepted into the National Honor Society.
I stand before you tonight, not because I am the valedictorian, even though I am clearly intellectually superior to the majority, nor because I have been recognized as Curley man of the year due to a possible bribery or just the misguided judgements of whomever decides on this silly award. I am here because I am the only one of our class who can compose a speech that does not consist of the all too common, basic, and honestly boring graduation speeches that anyone and everyone could create, or so I thought. From being around you all for so long, I am surprised that some of you can even form a coherent sentence at
My my personal goals are to get a 27 on my ACT, have a above a 2.8 GPA, and get a basketball scholarship to ORU. I need to jump into college with alacrity.I plan on reaching these goals by working hard and really focusing in all of my classes every single day and making sure I make enough time in my week to study for all my tests I take. Even if I have antipathy for a class I still need to be inquisitive and ask questions.
My main goal is to get an athletic scholarship. I won't be able to get one though if my grades aren't good and I can't have that happen. Education will be able to help me continue to do what I love. I plan to keep doing what I am doing in school so I can leave Freeburg knowing I am set for the next few years in my academic and sports filled life.
I will be remembered for advocating for more school programs, more supplies, and more arts. I will be remembered for making the school a better place for the students, faculty and parents. I will make an impact on all of my students. They will be pushed to do their best. They will be pushed to try harder.
All of my friends and family came to share my happiness, and they were present throughout the whole graduation ceremony. Despite the fact that most of such official events seemed to be quite boring for me before, this one passed like a snap of the finger. Even those speeches that I expected to be the most boring seemed to be quite encouraging and entertaining.
I have not had a single accomplishment that is worth writing about but I feel that my college completion will be one accomplishment that I will be most proud. I feel that I am taking one step forward in life that will make me become a more successful person.
Growing up I was always told that I had to attend college and be something great. So I guess in a sense I have to prove to myself and others that I can achieve this. When I graduate it will give me a piece of mind knowing that I did what I was destined to do. Graduating and receiving my degree will be one of my greatest accomplishments.
Going into my senior year shows me how successful im going to be, I will be the first girl / child to graduate out of my mother children. My
My goal is to go to college and then have a career. It 's a goal that probably a lot of people have,
Graduation was the most important day in my life. I waited for this amazing day for twelve years to reach my dream and move on to college. For most people, graduation is a memorable day. It is hard for me to forget it even after a hundred years. The day I woke up realizing it was my graduation day, I was smiling all day long knowing that I had made my family proud of me. I remember everything about my graduation day: my party, cake, dress, makeup, hair, cap and gown, and the gifts I got from family and friends.
