The story “V for Vendetta” is a story about a society that was taking over by the a group of people. Like any controlled dystopian society there are rules they must follow and if there are not followed the could have serious consequences. All the people in this society are supposed to believe in one thing called “The Fate”. The Fate comes on a radio broadcast every certain hour of the day. They aren’t allowed to do what they want, where they want, or when they want. There food is rationed, and are forced to wear certain thing. Also certain races were eradicated, for an example if you were homosexual, etc., and like all dystopian societies we have our protagonist named “V”. “But then they started taking people away...all the black people and the pakistanis, white people, too. All the radicals and the men who you know, liked other men the homosexuals. Along with people; books, music, and other hobbies were forbidden as well, people forget about how to live and have fun and V is there to remind them of that. The food is limited, so they ration their food as a technique for them to follow their rules. With these rules also comes barriers, some days certain places are in quarantine, so you are unable to go there. Using those quarantined places girls sometimes go there to prostitute to make money. Prostitution is a serious crime in this society. Punishment can be the result if one is charged, and that is what one of the main characters did, until “V” comes into save the
