Introduction I am obsessed with tubing. Before anyone asks, I mean tubing on water not on snow. Though snow is water and I love tubing on snow as well, but this is dealing with water tubing not snow tubing. I adore tubing to the point that I have been tubing since I was 4 years old. Along the way I enjoyed learning many things. Like the best equipment for tubing. Plus good tips and tricks for staying on the tube so everybody is not losing their pants (I mean it literally and figuratively which has happened to me). Along with the personal laws and real laws of tubing. Equipment Before anybody can even start tubing, you need the correct equipment. If someone doesn’t own the correct equipment the experience will not be as exhilarating. When …show more content…
This rule is more focusing on the woman and not the males. Woman, wear either a 1 piece swimsuit or a good fitting 2 piece otherwise there will be regret in someone’s life later. Men, I suggest a swimsuit that fits well or can be tightened to fit well otherwise it will end as bad as it did for the woman. Speaking from experience it is not fun to lose your pant while tubing. I will tell everyone my lesson learning experience of when I lost my pants tubing. I was tubing like I do every weekend. I was in the Top Dog trying to keep my balance when we hit a wave and I fell off the back, but I did not let go I just sat there being dragged by the tube not realizing my impending doom. When I let go and I'm sitting in the water waiting to be picked up by the boat I realized that my swim shorts were not on my waist or my ankles. It was then I realized that my pants had fallen off when getting dragged. When they came to pick me up I had to yell I lost my pants. I was on a boat with my four guy friends and their dad. To this day they have still not allowed me to live that down. Now every time I go tubing they are always like don’t lose your pants Morganne. That entire day made me more prepared and more experienced for any pants losing

Safety is the number one concern with any water sport. In May, the U.S. Coast Guard released its Recreational Boating Statistics, which revealed 701 boating fatalities nationwide in 2016 (Coast Guard). Alcohol
At 15, I was at the YMCA one Saturday when my father stopped by. He was drunk. He tried to play a game of pool with me and ripped the table covering with his cue stick. Many of my friends were watching. I didn't return to the Y for a month.
One day my father and grandpa went fishing but I wanted to go with them, but I had no experience, they would not teach me, and they were going to leave in 3 hours. Before trying to convince my father and grandfather again I talked to my mother and for some reason she knew how to fish so she taught me some basic skills. After the small training session there was about 5 minutes left and my father and grandfather were checking for any hideaways in the car. As they were doing a final check I sneaked in with a fishing rod and a cap and lay inside the car speechless. At the fishing spot, my father and grandfather unloaded their supplies and I fell onto the dirt floor, when they discovered I stowed away they were mad but I told my father and grandpa that I wanted to go fishing with them and they accepted my
It was at Cline Elementary in the 2nd grade during recess when I saw two boys walking towards me. I knew that one of the boys were named Nick and the other was his cousin. At the time, I knew exactly what they were going to do, and I was right. "So, how are you and your disgusting boyfriend.", he sneered. This was everyday of my life, "He's not my boyfriend!", I fired back, "We're just friends." Back and forth we spat out venomous comments to each other.
It was almost midnight on a school night during my freshman year of high school and I had just laid down in bed after getting
When everybody left to get cake, I had to clean up the swimming toys. Because one toy was in the middle of the deep end of the pool, I dived into the water. I picked it up and tried to swim up. My hair was stuck to the ladder! I didn’t know what to do! Running out of oxygen, I tried to yell for help.
F. Scott Fitzgerald is an American novelist and short story writer who is best known for his depictions of the Jazz Age from 1918 until 1930, his most famous work includes the novel: “The Great Gatsby” (1925). In the 1920s short story “The Four Fists”, Fitzgerald makes an argument through the protagonist Samuel Meredith that all people can grow and change. He uses punches to Samuels face to incite the changes in him, the lessons learned from these punches include being considerate of others and not to judge others. He establishes credibility by ensuring that the description, speech, actions and events surrounding Samuel’s life make sense are in relation to one another. “The Four Fists” starts off with a young Samuel Meredith who is an arrogant,
Then after I jumped of the bike I remember that I barely made it onto the slip and slide. Then I heard my brothers laughing at me cause I guess they thought it was funny how I fell onto the slip and slide. I was laughing and screaming after I was done I guess that I learned how to be brave with them. Which I thought it was fun when we played boy games as my aunts told me that I had to play with dolls and girl games. But my dad and my uncles always supported me they said don’t listen to them you can play whatever you want.
7. Learn CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation). This applies particularly to pool owners and water sports enthusiasts.
The canoeing was a fun event that met my expectations. It was a great experience since I never been canoeing before. Although canoeing is not extreme, there still exists a high physical component to this activity. In addition, I did not realize the numerous benefits that can be gained from canoeing. One benefit that can be gained is health by improving cardiovascular fitness. Paddling the canoe provides a great form of exercise that will increase muscle strength and reduces the risk of wear and tear on joints since it is a low impact activity. Moreover, canoeing is a full body experience, where the upper body and lower body are moving simultaneously. The challenge to maneuver the canoe was difficult at first since me and my partner were not in sync initially. The ability to communicate effectively and adjust enabled us to complete our journey without any complications.
Well, that time arrived when Dad was taking me, and nothing was going to hold me back. I watched Dad approach me as he returned from a blue and white hire tent with a long (well what seemed long at the time), bright yellow foam board. It had a small white fin sticking out its rear. We stayed shallow and like any impatient 5 year old I began to suffer from frustration as I continuously nose dived into the sand at my efforts to stand up.
One thing that I'm not proud to admit, is that I've peed my pants in class, three different times, during my second grade school year. I'm not proud of those moments, because I was either seven or eight years old, and kids that age usually don't wet themselves. Surprisingly, I wasn't the only student in my grade to pee their pants in class at that school, there were several other students in my class/grade, who also couldn't hold it in any longer. Honestly, I still to this day, blame my second grade teacher for my accidents, I always had to hold it, because every time that I'd ask her for permission to go to the restroom, she's snap at me and reply immediately with a "no", so I began to be afraid of asking her for permission, so I'd just try to hold it, and than it'd slip every now and then. The funny thing about it, was how I was so relieved after I noticed that other students were having the same issue, I was literally feeling so relieved, because I didn't have to be known as the only student from that class to have that embarrassing moment.
It was Friday morning and I was in the 5th grade at the time. My father decided to pull both me and my brother out of school. My mother wasn’t home. She had already gone up to the hospital with my grandmother.
Throughout my life I have had so many embarrassing moments. The most embarrassing moment that will always come to mind is being chased by the game warden. I have had some close encounters with the game warden, but never this close before. The last time I was forced to call my parents to explain the whole entire night. Being in this situation most teen-agers would consider it to be a bad night, but for me it was more of a long embarrassing night. When the game warden was chasing me I felt scared, nervous as well as embarrassed knowing this night might not turn out to my advantage.
