Dispatcher is also responsible for keeping the check on driver’s daily logs. He also monitors drivers and their service hours along with the equipment availability. Although, possessing education in transportation is helpful, but generally high school diploma is required.

The job of a mechanic is to keep the truck running properly and efficiently. This means he may have to take the entire truck apart to fix something. Taking care of the truck also means just the small things such as regular maintenance. Maintenance could be stuff like changing the oil regularly, new oil filter, fuel filter, or even giving the truck a good washing to keep it clean and in good working order. Also, full synthetic oil is the best thing you can put in the engine to keep everything running smooth and ensure the the parts stay properly lubricated.
Usually, the more training you receive, the more you get paid. The shift you choose to work could affect your salary as well. A "perfect storm" of detriments has created a void in the normal flow of potential drivers, from baby boomers eyeing retirement or alternate jobs that keep them closer to homes and families to millennials that consider the demands of truck driving a poor match for their desired lifestyle. In terms of truck-driving demographics, those edge-of-retirement baby boomers are also being pulled off the road by stiffer regulations on medical conditions like sleep apnea, which could affect alertness or even response time out on the road.
Some of those jobs can and will be on the water or in the air and most definitely on the ground, for example you can have a job doing work on commercial vehicles. Such as a city bus or construction equipment, there are a ton of this type of equipment in the country so of course there will be a lot of jobs in this field. Along with the common fields in this career if you were a small engine repair guy or just fixing the engines through a shop you are a common worker anyone can do this with a little bit a training. But, if you want to make more money and have a better career in this field then you need to find a job that takes more time to study and more schooling.
