I have watched the ACM’s, CMT Music Awards, and the CMA Awards since I was a little kid. I have always loved country music. After watching and listening to these artists on the television and radio, I wanted to see one of them live. My favorite singer overall was and still is George Strait, however, he retired from touring. So, I knew I could not go see him for my first concert. Well, Christmas time in 2013 came around, and my parents surprised me with tickets to the Tree Town Music Festival in Forest City, Iowa. I was so excited! I ran up to them and gave them both a huge hug. I could not believe it I was headed to my first concert not only with one or two artists but close to fifteen! The Tree Town Festival is a three-day event over memorial day weekend. The summer of 2014 could not come fast enough! …show more content…
My mom’s college roommate, and her son, my mom, and I were finally headed to the concert. We were borrowing my grandma and grandpa’s camper so after we got that all set up and ready to go we made a campfire. It smelled so good! It was perfect for making s’mores. They tasted wonderful. The next morning we had some time to kill so we played many games of cards and dice. This trip was so much more than just my first concert it was like a mini-vacation. After we finished our game of cards we got in the car and headed to a large hayfield with a stage in the middle of it. The sight was indescribable. It was a field of lawn chairs, food vendors, and fun. I could not have asked for a better night. The wind was calm, the sun was warm, and the music sounded great. Each night there was a headliner that was considered to be the most famous singer with others that were not as famous but still good before the main event. Every year since we have continued to go back and have just as much fun each time. It is something I will always enjoy not only because of the music but because I get to spend it with such great
Admission tickets, so my friends and I decided to grab a close spot near the stage. We
The concert that I attended last Friday was an interesting one where I got to have some new experiences and learn about classical music.
I chose to do my concert critique on Eric Clapton-MTV unplugged full concert-HQ January 16, 1992 at Bray Film Studios in Windsor, England. Eric Clapton is my favorite rock n roll singer which has a mixture of genres. The concert was inside and on stage. The audience was seated up close to the stage which made the atmosphere comfortable; Eric and the band showed much warmth and connected with the crowd it wasn’t like the band was untouchable.
On October 6, I attended a Wind Ensemble in Bennett Auditorium and was delighted by the experience. All of the pieces that were played were definitely interesting, but some pieces were more enjoyable than others. When I arrived at the event I was expecting a larger audience than what I saw, however I have not gone to anything like this event before so it could possibly have been a good turnout. Overall the performers all did very well and I would definitely like to attend more concerts similar to this one.
The night was young, times were crazy and it was only the beginning of my senior year. It was still warm out and it still felt like summer; we didn’t know that we could have this much fun in one night, but we knew we were going to have fun no matter what. My first concert had to be one of the best nights of my life and one of my most favorite nights of my life during my senior year. It all began when my buddy Alex Kramper decided to give me a phone call and wanted to know if I wanted to go to an Imagine Dragons concert at the Verizon Wireless Amplifier Theater for only twenty bucks, I responded with a hell yeah, the concert was only in a weak.

In conclusion, the concert was really interesting and I enjoyed myself. In my opinion the two pieces that I really like in this concert, are Sounden Horn and Polonaise from Engine Onegin, the shift between the melodic lines and the element of beauty is what made me like it. In the future I would recommend it to my friends and I will not mind to go with them at all. This kind of music is the best to me by far.
Over this semester, I attended two concerts. The first concert I went to was a performance done by the Swedish band Graveyard at the 9:30 club in DC. The second concert that I went to was at the George Mason Center for Performing Arts. This concert was a jazz competition between bands call The Battle of the Big Bands. Both concerts were performed very well and kept the audience, myself included, very entertained throughout the entire show. In this paper, I will be discussing each individual show in depth, and then continuing on to compare the two concerts.
Musical concerts are undoubtedly an incredible opportunity to experience a great aesthetic pleasure by listening to the musicians perform in front of your eyes. The power of music can hardly be overestimated – it can transfer a number of messages, thoughts and feelings through the performed sounds. Therefore the one can comprehend the music in the best possible way only when it is heard live. Musical concerts are often revelatory and highly impressive experiences to me. This essay thereby aims to provide my reflections and impressions of the concert of Gregory Porter & the Metropole Orchestra which I had the opportunity to attend in Nashville, TN.
I took a friend with me to experience it as well. When we first arrived around 7 p.m., which the event started at 6p.m. through 10 p.m., there was hardly any parking. We drove through Paseo first, and then parked at the end of the strip at a gas station called Samir’s Beer, Ice, Bread, and Milk. We both got a kick out of the name. When we started walking down the strip we realized how hungry we were. There were plenty of food joints that all smelled, oh so good. One of the food joints had fire pits outside to eat next to. I told myself that I would definitely have to come back and eat out here.
This year Washington D.C celebrated the Cherry Blossom’s 104th year from when the first set of 2,000 trees were sent over from the Japanese mayor in 1910, but unfortunately that set of 2,000 trees were diseased and died quickly. In 1921 the Japanese mayor sent over 3,000 more trees. He did not want the United States to think that he planned on sending us a bad set of trees and wanted to keep the peace and friendship that the United States and Japan had. ("National Cherry Blossom Festival").
I had many opportunities to choose and attend an event, but I wanted it to be the perfect event. The experience I wanted to obtain from the event I selected had to be memorable, authentic and entertaining. Thus, the event I decided to attend was titled “Fiesta de la Familia”, it was held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Chase Field – Gila River Casinos (Plaza 401 East Jefferson St. Phoenix, Ariz. 85004) from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm. The Diamond Backs hosted this event; it was their first cultural street festival.
If someone were to ask people ever wanted to see almost every artist from any genre of music in one place? Of course, anyone would say yes, because most people haven't been to an event like the huge one that happens in California each year. This is an event many people save up all year to attend just maybe once in their life time. The Coachella Music and Arts Festival, it is one of the most talked about festivals that this generation knows about. It is like a whole new world for most people each time they attend.
I had never really been to a big concert that had a well-known band. A couple of weeks before the concert I got some information about it, but really didn't think much of it. I talked with some friends about the band and we all casually decided to go get tickets for it. Little did I know what an absolutely spectacular time I would have.
