If someone were to ask people ever wanted to see almost every artist from any genre of music in one place? Of course, anyone would say yes, because most people haven't been to an event like the huge one that happens in California each year. This is an event many people save up all year to attend just maybe once in their life time. The Coachella Music and Arts Festival, it is one of the most talked about festivals that this generation knows about. It is like a whole new world for most people each time they attend.
Believe it or not The Coachella Music and Arts Festival started out as a protest in 1993. The band Pearl Jam protested against Ticketmaster and all the auditoriums they controlled in Southern California in November of 1993. They chose to host in their concert at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. It wouldn't be until six years later that the festival would be founded by Paul Tollett with help from Goldenvoice, a promoting company and brings thousands of fans out to the Colorado Desert of the very first Coachella Music Festival in 1999. The debut of Coachella was headlined by acts like Beck, The Chemical Brothers, and Rage Against the Machine and was amazing and went quite well for being first run. The first festival as it was could not compare to the ones that followed with even more attractions. In fact the first Coachella Music Festival was held in October and only at the two day event and there was no on site camping due to the madness at Woodstock'99. Many other things happen during and after the first festival including 1999 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival taking $800,000 hit on the inaugural event. The books allow people to dig deeper and go behind the scenes to find out what made Woodstock such a success. On the other hand, one can always search the newspaper archives and retrieve an account of Woodstock from a reporter’s view at the same time the festival occurred. The summer of 1969 was in midst of the Vietnam War, a cultural movement rejecting social norms, and transformative genres of music. This summer is also known for the Woodstock Music and Art Fair, a festival attended by over 500,000 people. Jimi Hendrix was one of many other performers there who contributed to the monumental period of change in America. Pete Johnson describes his¬¬¬¬ band’s performance as “magical: the way they looked, the way they performed and the way they sounded were light years away from anything anyone had seen before. There are many cultures that are around the world that is different in many ways. One way that many cultures come together is through the cultural events today. Cultural events are events pertaining to cultures, such as a feast or festivals. By attending cultural events, you experience firsthand the diverse offering of culture and artistic expression found in a community. The Essence Music Festival and the Mardi Gras are two of the festivals that many people attend for all over the world.
This report is aim to describe and analysis an event that held in NSW, named Country Music Festival Tamworth (TCMF). The TCMF is the Australia’s largest music festival and rated in the top ten coolest festivals (Destination NSW 2016). In this report, it will outline and analysis the planning intentions of the TCMF in regard to the goals, objectives, program, relationship between community and stakeholders, governance and event impacts.
On the winter’s eve of the 27th of February, I attended an indie rock show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg located in the hipster hub of Brooklyn. The Music Hall, owned by The Bowery Presents, was opened eight years ago, and it is a charming little venue that actually holds up to more than its capacity. It’s built with three floors: a lounge with seating and tables, a ground floor where the experience is much more exciting, and a second floor with a spacious seating area and benches. I would definitely go back there, maybe when it’s warmer outside.

Woodstock is known worldwide for being one of the most important events in music history. Like moths to a flame, a unique assortment of people from all over the world traveled to the United States, New York City, in August of 1969 to hear their favorite artists perform for 3 days. Imagine that you are at a concert, it’s all well and good. At least the music’s nice. Now imagine that you are in a much bigger concert, one with half a million people in it. Welcome to the Woodstock Concert: 3 days of peace and music. Woodstock was a concert in the sixties that brought so many people they couldn’t keep track of all of them. This and many more points is what makes Woodstock a special point in history. Points like how everyone wanted to go, how it shows a slice of life in the sixties, and how it remembered in history.
Many awesome concerts are going on in 2016. Coachella is just around the corner, and it costs anywhere from 300 dollars all the way into the thousands. But, nobody wants to miss something like the incident between Drake and Madonna last year. Even artists like 5 Seconds of Summer, Justin Bieber, and Fall Out Boy are having concerts in 2016.

A music festival will help raise funds, to mitigate Amazon’s deforestation issues. It will begin on Friday and end Saturday night. The music festival will have several well-known bands such as Counting Crows, Nickelback, Blue October, Passenger, among other well-known musical talents. Incorporating different genres of music will entice more people to attend.
When I was younger, I was an avid concert goer. A lit up, crowded, and blaring concert hall was my favorite place to be. Before I had my license and could drive, I would beg my parents to give me and my friends a ride to any show we could find. We would search the internet up and down and high and low for venues near us hosting an artist. It was something we would do every other weekend, and we always looked forward to it. Every aspect of a concert hall, from the inside to the outside, would make it a crazy and insanely electrifying place to visit.
There is an event that I just can describe as one of the most unique and memorable in my life: attending my first concert. After years of listening to Ron Pope’s music, watching his YouTube channel, and following all of his social media accounts, the satisfaction of seeing someone whose music has been the soundtrack to my life for so long was unreal. There were moments that I had to internally remind myself that this is, in fact, happening in real life. Being a dedicated (some may say eccentrically so) fan is tough work – and I was rewarded with two hours of pure magic for one night.
