Since I'm coming to an end in my middle school years in a few months, I feel obligated to make a guide to help you youngsters transition to middle school, and even help people who are already in middle school, struggling! Hopefully these tips will help you in your three years of Hell on Earth. 1. It's nothing like high school. I know, you're glad to get out of the same classroom all day, and that part is great, but don't think junior high is like senior high. You may or may not be exposed to new situations like peer pressure, confromity and stress and identity issues. However, this is normal because you're discovering yourself, it's fine. 2. Teachers aren't going to be as lenient as they are in elementary school. At all. Usually in elementary school, if you Do your best. Even if you don't get all A's or don't have those excellent grades you used to have, it's okay. Make sure you're putting in as much as effort you can and feeling good about yourself. If you want to do better, look into tutors, talking to your teachers or look at Youtube videos about that topic. 11. Relationships can wait. Statistics show that middle school relationship usually don't work out anyway, so why bother? It's fine to have crushes and maybe even fall in love, but don't rush into relationships and do anything crazy. 12. Stay unique and positive. There are tons of people who going to be against you, and there are lots of bullies, but remember that you are gift to this world, and that another equal individual can't make you feel like you're less than. 13. Consider high schools. Even if you're going to sixth grade, it's great to consider options for high school. Honestly, middle school flies by very fast. Everything will be over before you know it. 14. Prep for standardized test. If your school offers ACT prep or any other end-of-the-year test prep, at least go to one, even if it's on the weekend. One Saturday won't hurt if you can guarantee yourself that you'll pass
