School systems today are just not what they used to be. Students are not motived in a traditional classroom anymore. They act immature and sometimes become involved with bad crowds. How would you feel knowing that your child is in a classroom bored and not getting the education they need to exceed in life? The Internet has however come a long way in the past ten to twenty years. Now a student is able to take his or hers classes without the distraction that would come from a traditional classroom. Internet class are a much better choice for a student to earn a degree or diploma.
Internet classes are much easier on the student. Internet classes have a self-teach guide that helps them teach themselves. It is not the easiest thing, but they can pass themselves in what they are studying on. Students just do not pay attention in a traditional classroom any more. They get lazy and bored. Which sooner are later leads to failing their classes.A student that excel faster than other students becomes bored. They start doing doodles on their paper in front of them. They do not pay attention to the teacher in class. On an online course they can excel as fast as they want. The student can finish an online course in the matter of months. Instead of sitting in a boring class room. Students that get bored in the classroom seems to lead to dropping grades because of lack of interest.
In a traditional classroom they always have one student that likes to be the class clown. That causes problems for students in the classroom. It makes it harder for a student to concentrate. A student needs to be able to focus without the annoying class clown. When a student does online classes they do not have to worry about a class clown. That...

Traditional schools allow students to develop socially to an extent, but sometimes that is not the best thing. Students should be learning manners and a proper behavior. Now all students are learning is new curse words and how to talk back to their elders. Some students do not go to school to learn. They go to hang out with friend and get in trouble.
Having students complete their schoolwork through the Internet rather than in a traditional classroom is a good idea. It elements the worries of students becoming involved with a bad crowd and doing drugs. It also allows them to do their school work at their own pass. They also have more time to spend with their family and doing social activities. So yes I do think online schooling is better than traditional class.
However, when a student takes an online class the student and professor are at a disadvantage of building an interpersonal relationship. For example, a professor is unable to read the nonverbal cues of a struggling student through a computer screen or is unable to tell if a student is experiencing a true emergency. Just as, a student is unable to read their professors nonverbal cues that a particular chapter or assignment is vital to passing the course. I have taken classes on campus and online classes for three semesters now and have learned that regardless of class format a student needs to be dedicated, structured, self-motivated and not afraid to ask questions. A disadvantage of taking an online class is if a web portal is not working properly.
The pure joy and happiness from their experience is more valuable than grading of evaluate children from acquiring skills they learn in school. The senior school systems are the cases that turn out to be a failure and continue to adult life. Young children whose exposed to unhappy school life becomes an unhappy member of society and this carries on to the next generation and the vicious cycles becomes never ending story, unless we change to make youger generation to acknowledge from contented experience coming from the life
Schools are supposed to be second homes. It goes without saying that students should feel safe, comfortable, and happy at school. They're all there for the same reason. They're all stuck in the same boat of studying for the same diploma exams and going to the same assemblies.
There are many advantages to online learning, it affects the way people can learn. According to “Effects of Technology on Classrooms and Students”, “students have a greater willingness to write or work on computational skills”. “They say student like the immediate results of having online learning.” Another advantage is that students can learn at their own pace. With learning at their own pace they will be able to actually know the information well. If, they are in a regular classroom setting they may no...
School has been in our lives for the longest time and it has always been a positive experience. It sets students on a path to achieve their education goal and stepping stones to a career! Now with all the advancements in life, students have the opportunity to do online classes. This is useful if the pupil is not able to attend school or their school does not offer some classes that they would like to take. Experiencing both of these ways of schooling, I have an understanding of the differences between the two. The major differences between online school and traditional school are the flexibility opportunities, the communication with the teachers, and the time management/discipline from the learner.
...nditions. Students taking online classes might find it easier to attend family gatherings, traveling, and attended to personal needs. An online class allows the students to work on their own time, to whereas the traditional classes they have to stick with a schedule.
This stems from a certain immaturity, the exists in all children, but also a lack of time. Students are encouraged to take high level classes with detrimental amounts of homework and then pile on extracurricular such as clubs and sports. When teachers put assignments online they can be shared and completed easily, at any time. Writing online is faster and more efficient when regarding essays and correcting grammar (source B). Communication between schools and families has been hastened by technological leaps (source B).
It will be harder for students to develop their social skills since there is no face-to-face interaction with other people involved. Instructors will need to undergo retraining for them to be competent and it can be costly. It is also expensive to purchase the latest softwares or programs needed to provide online education. E-learning needs constant maintenance and updating as well to ensure that students are getting the latest information. It will also be a challenge for people who doesn 't have access to computers and are not computer literate. It will also be harder for the instructors to assess the performance of their students since they have no guarantee of who actually completed the exercises, home works, and
In an age of rapid change due to so many technology and innovative advances, a revolutionary change in the educational system is as vital as what our next energy source is. Education is the most powerful wealth in the world and it demands more attention, and where better to start with than out youth. The school system will soon go out of date due to the information highway and information availability if there isn?t a dramatic change in the way things are run in our domestic institutional facilities. The reason why college was such a success in the 20th century was because books were all of a sudden available to students on university campus. Now with internet, a student could specialize their profession solely with the computer with the click of a button. Something needs to be done to smoothen the rigid gaps and cracks in the school system before the technological pace at which we are advancing decides to bring the whole thing down.
In contrast, education now is a human right for everyone, is more advanced, and it easy to access to. Thanks to the internet, now we can learn new subjects, idea, languages, and more of new stuff every day from different places, we are not tied any more to a boring classroom.
The Internet also, gives teachers the ability to teach a class online so that their students will be able to stay on task when they are not able to come to class. The online class idea has also made it possible for the average person to get his or her degree without having to go to a college campus physically. In total, the Internet has not only increased the amount of learning possibilities in the classroom, but it has created infinite amounts of learning opportunities for students and teachers. CLASSROOM Because of the Internet, it is possible for schools to have access to books without having them on the shelves of school libraries.
School plays a role in socialization by educating the child on how to read and write to be able to perform successfully in the society. I see school as an agent of socialization as it helps the child to learn new ideas, information and knowledge that is important for the child to function properly in the society. The school helps the child to also make friend and associate with different members of the society other than the immediate family at home. As a student, I have learnt a lot in school socializing with my course mate by communicating with them and learning new ideas other than that of my family. Most of the new ideas learnt from school help me to socialize in the society. In, my opinion, school is a valuable agent of socialization.
Wouldn’t it be a great thing to be able to go to college without having to sit in a class all day and listen to the dry eyes guy drone on about this or that? Maybe hold down a job, take care of 5 children and still further ones education to get that missing degree. With the advent of technology and the internet that has turned into reality. Life is good isn’t it? When taking classes online integrity must be a top characteristic for an individual. If integrity is not a value that is important than cheating or academic dishonesty is bound to become a problem. In a traditional class setting there is a professor or instructor present at all times. The instructor is physically present to give information about the subject to t...
Furthermore, some may suggest that online learning is benefiting our students in society. There has been a breakthrough in time and geographical limitations of education via online courses (Ho, 2009). Online education is cost-effective, efficient, and easily accessible (Schmeeckle, 2003). Online classes are used for individual and independent learning in which the student can learn at their own pace (Gonzalez, 2009). Not only is online education beneficial for breaking down barriers, online education has the potential to help students learn material more efficiently. Students are more likely to seek help from their instructors when the material is taught online (Whipp & Lorentz, 2009). Computer use in statistical classes could help decrease math anxiety (Gundy, Morton, Liu, & Kline, 2006). In a study that measured online students’ ability to achieve the same efficiency of course material as face-to-face students, at least 98% of students reported that they had, so one may be lead to believe that online learning is just as efficient as face-to-face courses (Liebowitz, 2003). With all of the positive aspects of online education, one may wonder why there is any debate as to whether or not online education is beneficial for
Those who disagree with me think that online learning allows a student to learn at their own pace. Students are able to take the time to understand and figure out problems with the resources that are provided. The convenience of learning in an environment that is conducive to that particular students learning is provided by the student. If the student feels comfortable they are more apt
