E-Government With the continuous growth of technology, even government offices are now opting to use the internet in providing information to the people and making business transactions. It is more efficient and effective, and faster as well. According to Wikipedia, E-government essentially refers to "The utilization of Information Technology (IT), Information and Communication Technologies (ICT s), and other web-based telecommunication technologies to improve and/or enhance on the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery in the public sector." E-Government promotes and improves broad stakeholders contribution to national and community development, as well as deepen the governance process.
There are four major categories within the e-government concept. The first one is the Government-to-Citizens (G2C), which includes all transactions between the government and citizens. It will be harder for students to develop their social skills since there is no face-to-face interaction with other people involved. Instructors will need to undergo retraining for them to be competent and it can be costly. It is also expensive to purchase the latest softwares or programs needed to provide online education. E-learning needs constant maintenance and updating as well to ensure that students are getting the latest information. It will also be a challenge for people who doesn 't have access to computers and are not computer literate. It will also be harder for the instructors to assess the performance of their students since they have no guarantee of who actually completed the exercises, home works, and
