In the book ”Queer Aztlan: The Re-formation of Chicano Tribe” written by Cherrie Moraga, she mentioned the Mexican border. The American army captures the Mexican capital in 1847, and the Mexican border was created in 1848 in order to let the Mexicans away their homeland which is lost at Mexican-American War. Moraga thinks there is a border between male and female, the male using the female but don’t give them help. Moraga also mentioned, “In a queer Aztlan, there would be no freaks, no others to point one’s finger at” (Moraga 235). This was talk about the fictional border.
I have been to Florida a billion times, but there are only two places that I normally visit. Sanibel Island and Destin. Traveling to Sanibel Island is almost like a tradition for my family because every year we try to go down there. My grandparents first went to Sanibel with my whole family (cousins and all) about 15 years ago and ever since then, it has been our family’s main “vacation spot”. I have gone to Sanibel almost every year, but last year I also went to Destin. Now the main reason we decided to go there as well is because we wanted to travel somewhere nearby the panhandle of Florida. The water and beaches are also very contrasting in comparison to Sanibel. Sanibel’s beaches even had heaps of sea shells going out into the water. The sand is also more dense than that of Destin. Even Sanibel’s water is darker and more cloudy, so it was crazy to see Destin’s water so clear! The beach (which is called Emerald Cove, where I stayed at) had sand that was so white and soft it

In all of my travels across the United States of America, the `hottest' vacation spot hands down is in Key West, Florida and the `coolest' place to travel to is Denali National Park in Denali, Alaska. These vacation destinations are the two most beautiful and most relaxing places in the nation! I personally have experienced a week of enjoyment at both locations and find myself wanting to go back to each of them in the future because I had such a great time. Even though these are both awesome places to spend a week of vacation time, they differ in weather and climate patterns, they each have unique attractions and activities to do, and both vary in travel costs and various other expenses.
Mexican Border Problems The U.S.-Mexico border region is one of the most dynamic in the world. It extends more than 3,100 kilometers (2,000 miles) from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean, and 100 kilometers (62.5 miles) on each side of the international border and is marked by high concrete fences in the west and a broad shallow river in the east when it reaches Texas. The region includes large deserts, numerous mountain ranges, rivers, wetlands, large estuaries, and shared aquifers. While its people share natural resources like water and air, the border region is characterized by many social, economic, and political contrasts. There is the single biggest and most dangerous problem facing America: violence from illegal immigrants, smugglers and drug runners along

When I stepped foot onto Aruba’s beaches they were breathtaking. With its bright white sands and crystal clear water, it felt like I was in a postcard picture. The sands felt like walking on a cloud. The water was crystal, and the fishes were glistening from the sunlight. The weather is splendid. Each day was a cloudless 80+ degree weather. Aruba's known for their nice beaches for it is on most, if not all travel guides. You can see the whole island from the top of a lighthouse. The sunset is marvelous from that view. If you glance the horizon line from the beaches, you can see Venezuela. The sunrise was like orange, bubblegum, and blue raspberry sherbert. As I scanned the jewelry store, the gems were alluring. In my hometown, the Rio Grande Valley, borders exist as fluid cultural zones where separate countries meet to form a unique blend of customs and traditions. However, it is this very border that also defines distinct ways of life for two territories. As a child, my parents and I would drive into a border city in Northern Mexico to visit family for weekend trips. In 20 minutes my family could drive from McAllen, Texas into Reynosa, Tamaulipas. McAllen and Reynosa were truly worlds apart. McAllen, Texas generally maintained a prosperous and sustainable life for its residents. Life presented itself differently south of the fence. Reynosa grappled with the violence of the war on drugs prolonged by its government and the peso's devaluation. As a young person raised in
