The Sunshine State Choosing a vacation destination can be difficult. When deciding a destination there are many things to consider. Two of the most important considerations are the climate, and activities that are available. California is one of the top destinations for many people. California is also known as the “Sunshine State”. The beautiful state has many things to offer for families, couples, and singles. The top places that are visited in Southern California include many amusements and popular site seeing. A few top places are Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Hollywood Boulevard, and Catalina Island. These are a few of the top attractions in Southern California. This can sometimes be referred to as the “June Gloom”. Fog will typically burn off, by the sun, around noon each day. The fog during June tends to make the mornings cooler and afternoons and evenings warmer. Disneyland is known to be the happiest place on earth. Walt Disney is the founder of this amusement park. In the middle of the island is a town called Avalon that has shops and restaurants. Cars are not allowed on the island and the only form of transportation is a golf cart, which can be rented. The beauty of the island and the slow pace makes it a great place to relax and enjoy. I believe that Southern California is a great place to visit because of the great weather and the beautiful and fun attractions to visit. This would be a great place for a vacation. I might be a little bit biased since on May 17, 1995, I was born in Southern California and lived there for the first 10 years of my life. I have many fond memories of the Sunshine State.

If you are in around Los Angeles I would recommend SeaWorld in San Diego. SeaWorld San Diego is coined in March 21, 1964 for a 52 years ago. I would like to say if you are looking have fun with your family or friends, visit to San Diego is a very good idea, there is so many interesting things. I have visited only SeaWorld, USS Midway Museum and also some beach, but I will visit San Diego Zoo. My personal advice is if you are in SeaWorld just buy water protector jacket its not too expensive or you can bring some clothes, I thought I don’t need this, that’s why I am here its SeaWorld something like that. Disneyland is considered a magical place. Some might even consider it “better than real” (Louise 162). It is a place where families can have fun together and bond. It has been running successfully for over fifty years. But how did Disneyland come to be? It did not simply pop up one night out of nowhere.
