Shown on the Disney World website, the annual passes are eight hundred, and the daily tickets are one hundred dollars per ticket. The price of tickets are much more expensive for non-residents of Florida. Not to mention, purchasing a plane ticket to Florida can add more to the bill. The food prices at Florida are expensive too. Hotels at Disney World cost around one thousand dollars a night. Souvenirs can add an extra thirty dollars. On an empty stomach, Disney world serves unique food. "Mom, can we go to Florida" is a common phrase heard when school is out. Deciding where to go and what to see is a very hard decision for cash strapped parents. Picking one park is even harder when they are both five minutes apart from each other. When you want to see top amusement parks, you have a choice of two of the biggest names in the Industry, Disney-MGM or Universal. Both parks offer a different experience, yet they started with the same goal in mind, entertain the guest.
Walt Disney has brought two theme parks to life because of his imagination. He never stopped chasing his dreams, even if they seemed impossible. Walt Disney World came after Disneyland and it is located in Florida. Disney World is known to be the "most magical place on earth" and the place "where dreams come true". Many people haven't been to the park, so they might be skeptical of the "magic" that is held within. Walt Disney World is the "most magical place on earth" because of the rides, characters, shows, the electrical parade, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, and the infinitely growing attractions.
It became internationally famous, and there were millions of visitors globally, coming to the “Golden State”, to witness the magic. Upon the opening of Disneyland, CA, the WDS decided to move their studios to a newer, bigger building in Burbank, California. New attractions were added regularly to Disneyland, and at least one part of the theme park was always closed for construction. Walt said that Disneyland would never be completed, as long as there was still imagination in the world for the studios to use as inspiration. A couple major attractions added were, the Star Tours, Splash Mountain, The Grand Floridian Beach, the Caribbean Beach Resorts, Typhoon Lagoon, Pleasure Island, and more. About 16 years later, a whole new bigger amusement theme park emerged by the name of Walt Disney World in Walt’s honor; 1971. Disney World was a theme resort in Orlando, Florida, where families could stay for days, and experience the fun attractions. It was bigger and had four main theme parks within its 25,000 acres. The main park is the central part of the park, The Magic Kingdom; 107. It contains a dining area, and a huge castle in the exact middle of the whole Disney World. The castle is lit up in the night, and everyone gathers in the square. Then is the Animal Kingdom, which is 500 acres. It contains all kinds of animals and shows. The second largest park in the Walt Disney World is EPCOT. EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It is the park that shows international diversity. There are “World Showcases” that ‘showcase’ many different places on our Earth and their cultures. For many years it was considered an “adult” park, for kids found it very boring. The last park is the Hollywood Studios. This park is 135 acres and was the third major park to be opened. Its attractions are based on blockbuster movies and top TV shows. Walt Disney’s characters were the greatest thing ever in

Walt Disney World is the most magical place in the world. There are four parks, and each one is a little bit different. Some have more rides, some have more shows, and some have more to look at. So what makes the four parks different? In this essay, I am going to compare my two favorite Disney parks, Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and see what each park has to offer when it comes to food, rides, and shows.
Disneyland is considered a magical place. Some might even consider it “better than real” (Louise 162). It is a place where families can have fun together and bond. It has been running successfully for over fifty years. But how did Disneyland come to be? It did not simply pop up one night out of nowhere. Disneyland came to be through three events; the childhood of Walt Disney, the idea for an amusement park, and the building of this “better than real” place.
Universal Studios Orlando, some say that it is the best amusement park in the world with some of the best rides in the world. It has some great restaurants where you can go to eat after a very long day at the park and relax. It has has more amazing things too that you will read about in this review.
Florida is home to the world's most famous park - Disneyworld. This magical world of Mickey located in Orlando continues to attract the most visitors than any other amusement park in the country. A treat to these parks is the ultimate answer to every child's dream.
Before Walt made it to the top, he had to start at the bottom, as a commercial artist. He soon started to make his way up and even started coming out with his own movies, such as, Steamboat Willy in 1928, Snow White in 1938 and much later, the famous Sleeping Beauty in 1959(History.com/this day in history/disneyland opens). Now we’ve all heard and seen these movies, but how did the these movies turn into huge amusement parks that are featured around the world? Well, every single Disney movie that has ever been made has a role in a Disney park. For example, Cinderella’s castle at Disneyworld and Sleeping Beauty’s at DisneyLand. Speaking of the parks, DisneyLand in California was opened on July 17th,1955(History.com/this day in history/disneyland opens). I personally have never been here, but I hear there's just so much to do in such little time. I mean how can you explore 160 acres in just a few days?(History.com/ this day in history/disneyland opens). Now, I don’t know
Disneyland marked the onset of theme parks in the nation, which was carved out of a fantasy tale and it has been the leader for 60 years. And, there was virtually no competition to the attraction quotient that attracted people and tourists to visit the theme park.
But the Disney theme park located just outside Paris did not consider several managerial issues as well as consumer preferences. Walt Disney found Chinese population very lucrative and wanted to open a theme park somewhere around China. After two American parks and one Japanese park, they wanted to avail of the Chinese market which was previously unexplored. Disneyland, after initial talks with Hong Kong government, eliminated any other possibility of majority ownership so that they could invest on management and fees of franchise from their first-cut profits. Finally, Walt Disney had a management team of long experience of dealing with almost all the large and developed markets around the world. With the unparalleled resources and capital they already had, they could easily conduct proper market research before diving into the market in Hong

Ever since I was about six years old, I wanted in the worst way to go to Disneyland. I would hope every year that my parents would chose Disneyland as our next family vacation destination. I dreamt of the day I would come back from Disneyland with exciting tales of adventure and a pair of sparkly, ruby red and black Minnie Mouse ears of my very own that would be the envy of every kid in my elementary class. Once I finally went to Disneyland, it was amazing; Disneyland was everything I had expected and more. However, a couple years later when I returned to Disneyland, it was different. The rides, buildings, and everything in the park did not have the same allure. The magic I had experienced as a child was no longer there.
