When I stepped foot onto Aruba’s beaches they were breathtaking. With its bright white sands and crystal clear water, it felt like I was in a postcard picture. The sands felt like walking on a cloud. The water was crystal, and the fishes were glistening from the sunlight. The weather is splendid. Each day was a cloudless 80+ degree weather. Aruba's known for their nice beaches for it is on most, if not all travel guides. You can see the whole island from the top of a lighthouse. The sunset is marvelous from that view. If you glance the horizon line from the beaches, you can see Venezuela. The sunrise was like orange, bubblegum, and blue raspberry sherbert. As I scanned the jewelry store, the gems were alluring. The restaurants come
The day of my grandparents had told me they have been wanting to go to the Florida Keys and asked if I would like to join. So of course i wanted to go. Oh and when they told me i could bring a friend along i was jumping with happiness inside. They told me we would be going for a couple weeks and they had all expenses covered. So that day I started talking to Jamie and asking her when she would be back, because at that time she was in Florida visiting family. She had told me she would be back . So i asked her is she would like to join me and take a trip to the Keys with me. I could tell she was so excited when i asked her because she texted me back all in caps and said “CALL ME”. So i called her to let her know all of the details. So she ended up getting back .So when she got back from Florida we went to Walmart and bought a lot of
The Island’s climate is tropical, with an average temperature of 82 degrees, and little to no rain. Aside from the beautiful weather, there are millions of things to entertain you in Aruba. Nearly 20% of the island is a dedicated national park. What other island is like that? Arikok National Park is home to dramatic coastlines, natural bridges, and one of the island’s best natural features: the Natural Pool. Known to locals as “Conchi,” the pool is a “pristine, secluded swimming hole protected by a wall of volcanic rock” (Kalm), and is home to a long list of animal species and plant life. Arikok is more than just a park, it is also a beach. Aruba is located only nine miles off the coast of Venezuela, and on a clear sky day, you can see Venezuela. Like I said, what other island can do that? Aruba is also an island known for being volcanic and containing nature's artwork of stalagmites and stalactites, also known as caves. One of Aruba’s caves, the Guadirikiri Cave is famous for its two chambers, which illuminates sunlight through its two holes in the roof of the cave. Another cool cave to visit is Fontein Cave, which is the most popular of the caves, as it is the only one that “has the drawings of Arawak Indians on the ceilings” (Phalen), providing a real sense of island history. And lastly, the third popular cave to visit is the The Huliba Cave is also known as the “Tunnel of Love” (Phalen), because of its heart shaped opening at its entrance. Another interesting thing about Aruba is that it lays on the outside fringes of the hurricane belt, so hurricanes rarely touch Aruba’s shores. Statistic shows that only six hurricanes have reached 60 miles or closer since 1877. Also, you will not be missing out on America due to the fact that Aruba offers Taco Bell, KFC, and tax free casinos. Also, Aruba is a very safe island because it is low in crime rate and burglary, making it a perfect vacation

The Island itself is rather small, being only 193 square kilometers which is slightly larger than Washington D.C. However, the cement streets of our nations capital are nothing compared to the 68 kilometers of coastline, which is sandy, white on the south side and rough, jagged rock on the north. This island, like many in the Caribbean has become a tourist hotspot for its tropical marine climate, with minimal seasonal temperature variation. A major reason why Aruba has become so popular is due to the fact that it lies on the outside of the Caribbean hurricane belt. The average temperature in Aruba is 81 degree’s, which makes the river less countryside dry, with scarce vegetation. The terrain is flat, with very few hills. However, the largest mountain on the Island is Mount Jamanota standing tall at 188 Meters.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! My alarm clock noisily beeped until I slammed it off. It was Friday, and I just had to make it through one more day of school. It was 5:00 A.M. My alarm usually goes off at six. I was a little bit confused. Then, it hit me like a line drive to the gut. I was going to the Bahamas. I ran down the stairs faster than a fighter jet in combat and put my cinnamon toast Eggo waffle in the toaster. I realized that I needed to wake everyone else up so we could go. I heard what sounded like a pig in distress, and knew my dad was fast asleep. I tried to be gentle when I woke him up. First it was a tap. He snored. Then, it was a whisper followed by a light shove. He snored three times. I wondered if he was communicating
It was a sunny Thursday in April and we had just gotten back from spring break. I was tan, well-rested and I still had in my cornrows that I had gotten done in Aruba. After getting my pizza, my mom told me we were going to the mall as soon as I finished. Slightly confused, I ate my pizza and got in the car. Once at the mall, we looked around the dress section of Lord and Taylor. I picked a fun, ruffled yellow dress. I went to try it on, but it sadly did not fit. While we were walking to put back the dress, a familiar voice shouted, “Surprise!”
At a Chinese auction, four people’s names were drawn for an exclusive trip to the Bahamas. The four winners arrived at the airport, ready for their tropical vacation, when at the last minute their happiness was destroyed.
Warm sun gleaming down and eighty-five outside, a cool breeze and pizza buffet at my own disposal. An escape away from reality and into a relative paradise, no job nor school to worry about, just the concern of applying a generous amount of sunscreen. Sunsets over the cerulean waters are the main event of the evening, along with a fancy meal and a show or two. Adventures in the Bahamas guided by native islanders filled our days. I was accompanied by my family to enjoy a week long cruise on the Carnival Sensation.
My vacation to Florida was amazing. We stayed at several hotels. The beaches were beautiful. And we did several activities. I am looking forward to going back again.
Ever since Sunset Beach has been officially opened to the public, there has been a drastic increase of tourists present. Television programs concluded that at least a thousand people visit the beach everyday. Reasons for their stay are that they feel comfortable with the environment that surrounds the beach front, people who are at the beach are joyous and numerous activities to enjoy, and the fresh scent of the sparkly waters, make the visitors feel calm and pleasurable. So I decided to take a trip there.
Last summer, I went to Hawaii with my family and friends Vasu and Parth who are now in high school. The lesson which I learned is to not play when someone is tricking you. We landed at 9:00PM, rented a car, reached the resort which had seven restaurants, two swimming pools, and a sandy beach nearby.
Think about it, who would want to wake up at 4 o’clock in the morning. No one right! Well, I did, and I wouldn’t regret any of it. When I stepped foot into Aruba it was breathtaking. With its bright white sands and crystal clear water, I swear it looked like I was in a photoshop picture. The sands were like I was walking on a cloud. The water was the impeccable, not too cold not too hot. The weather has been always flawless, there, and the beaches were all clean. One of my most favorite memories is from last summer when my parents and my three teenage siblings, and I took a trip to the Gulf of Mexico. We spent the weekend at a vacation home in Bradenton Beach Florida. First, we started out our trip by each of us packing what we would need for the weekend and loading it up in the truck. Next, while my dad was connecting our boat, my mom told us kids to bring our ear buds, phones, phone chargers, and a pillow to prepare for a very long and boring trip. Then, we stopped at McDonalds for breakfast before we got on the road, because my mom did not want to deal with hungry, angry teenagers on the trip. Finally, we arrived a few hours later and began our beach vacation which consisted of a pristine white sandy
It was like a blizzard outside. My body was as cold as liquid nitrogen, and I was as scared as prey running from the lion. The bottom of the mountain was starting to disappear in the white abyss, almost making everything look like a blank canvas, waiting for a artist to paint on it.
