These are the biggest when it comes down to tourist attractions. There are many factors to consider when comparing California to Florida such as housing, weather, food, culture, and beaches.
For a lot of different reasons people in California think living there is cheap and affordable; however, housing in California cost more than it does in Florida. The average house costs around $250,000 in Florida. The same house would cost around $1,000,000 in California. A big factor in this situation would be the area you

choose or live around. In California, the land is so expensive because of how little and precious it is. The rent cost in Florida would also have you dancing up and down compared to California. For example, a living space in Florida with three bedrooms and two bathrooms would be around $1,000 a month. In California, a living space of three bedrooms and two bathrooms would be around $2,000. Another question to ask is, how much does an average job pay in Florida compared to a job in California? In Florida the average job pays around $8.50 an hour; however, in California the average job pays around $10.50 an hour. The living cost in California is much higher than in Florida.
For instance, both states are so beautiful in their own respectful ways. When it comes to their weather forecast of lots of sunshine, both California and Florida’s weather are very alike. In California, summer weather usually consists of hot and humid temperatures, snowy when it comes to winter, and light calm autumn season. Florida summer weather usually consists of hot, humid and muggy temperatures. The winters are cool and windy which is nice for an afternoon walk, and autumn is cool and calm.
When it comes to food, Florida and California are different and far apart. Mostly throughout Florida one will find a lot of fast food restaurants at any hour and at any corner. In the south, expect a lot of southern style dishes coming your way. A Florida breakfast comes with pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and grits on the side. Florida’s most unique and beautiful dinner dishes come with fresh fish grilled straight from “The Keys”. California has a good amount of fast food restaurants but not as many as Florida has. California has a large variety when it comes to wandering around in the streets for food. For insistence, Mexican food is very high up on the food chain along with sushi and BBQ.
California’s Hispanic culture is like Florida’s.

Hispanic Americans are one of the biggest culture groups in California. Hispanic Americans have very strong ties when it comes to their culture background and food. Food represents a strong symbol for Hispanic Americans, bringing the family together by providing a plate of rice and tacos with rich protein. Hispanic culture also comes with religious background that calls for time with family and praying a lot to Jesus. In Florida, the Hispanic culture is also major. Especially with the Cuban Americans living in south beach, Miami over more than 75 years. Hispanic American culture has changed Florida in significant ways. What is more, Hispanics have a very beautiful and inspiring way of representing their culture. In Florida, they celebrate national Hispanic heritage month through September 15 to October 15, and this event happens every year. The Hispanics who celebrate this culture, start it by kicking it off with music, dancing and a lot of delicious food from a variety of Hispanic countries. Also, one of the biggest well-known festivals is celebrated during national Hispanic heritage month that goes well throughout Miami and through specific streets like Calle Ocho and three

California’s most ravishing views must be its coastline. There are amazing, refined, long stretches of beaches that offer a wide variety of sceneries. Beautiful white sand coming from Santa Monica, Long Beach and Big Sur. All types of people from the state of California to people from Florida enjoy California beaches. Some even like to hang loose and surf on the waves coming off the coast. Incredible evenings make families in California come together to watch the sun set. Florida beaches are not just well known in the USA but all around the world. Beaches that come to mind are Miami, Clearwater, and Sarasota beach. Miami beach is considered one of the “sexiest beaches in America.” With all the parties thrown on the beach, spring break is a local one stop for students that are coming out of Miami University. Clearwater beach, years ago, was ranked as the number one beach on the planet, with its white powdery sand and super clear water. Sarasota beach is quiet, and one can hear the natural crashing of the waves hitting the shore that sooths anybody trying to relax and enjoy their
