The Sinking of the Titanic On a cold brisk night in the middle of the north Atlantic Ocean, the most popular ship of the century started it’s decent to the bottom of the icy sea. The infamous British ocean liner, the RMS Titanic scraped alongside a giant iceberg on April 15, 1912 400 miles off of the coast of Canada. The Titanic was the largest ocean liner of its time. It carried a total of 2,200 passengers, a full assembly of crew, and a complete compartment under the ship carrying tons of luggage and vehicles. The reviewer does not feel like the author constructed the paper very well. He jumped all over the place and described multiple events that barely related to one another. The author never asks a question throughout the article. He mainly just describes various events and briefly gives his opinion on the captain and how it was his stupidity and arrogance that caused the crash. The article is not well-written because the author constructs the paper very poorly and chooses a very confusing writing style. There is a slight bias represented in the first part of the article where the author reveals his opinion about how he thinks the whole event was caused by the captain’s ignorance. There is no distinct answer about where the author retains his information from. He mainly uses historical references and his own opinion. The author does not use an abundance of immense vocabulary. Due to this the British and the Germans had a large feud because the Germans wanted to just make a profit while the British tried to create an authentic representation of the event. The article is well-organized in the reader’s opinion because it is constructed in chronological order. No question was being asked throughout the article. The author mainly just explains how people wanted to make a profit off of the event. In this reviewers opinion, the article is well-written because of the level of vocabulary, it’s written in chronological order, and it describes the myths that were created by film makers for profitability. There is no point in the article to agree or disagree with due to the fact that the author is mainly just describing the conflict between Nazis and British over the creation of the film about the Titanic event.
