It struck an iceberg damaging the bottom of the ship, filling with water, allowing to break in half and the death of 1,500 people. Who is to blame for the death all these people? Edward J.Smith is responsible for the sinking of the Titanic and the death of the 1,500 people.

Edward Smith is to blame because when they hit the iceberg they still went on while the ship had a hole in it filling with water.
