If I could be anything in the world, I would be...The Incredible Hulk. Yes, I know he doesn't exist in real life per say, but let's be imaginative. He's amazing. I'll just begin there. He is easily the greatest superhero of all time. I mean, he is undeniably strong, has unmatched agility, and is, most shocking of all, greatly compassionate. First of all, The Incredible Hulk can pretty much singlehandedly destroy an entire city. Come on. He “broke” New York City in the movie Hulk in 2003. In 2008, in The Incredible Hulk, when he, as a human, was learning to control his transformations, he jumped from a fighter jet in an attempt to save an entire city. He was hoping that the fall, itself, would cause him to transform. Unfortunately, it didn't. …show more content…
In a scene in the movie Hulk from 2003, The Incredible Hulk is chased by jets and choppers into the desert, and he outruns 2 them all while he's on foot. He fights and fights and shows brute strength, and after being extremely exhausted, he begins to run again. He runs for multiple miles in a matter of seconds, makes a few leaps, and next thing you know, he's in another state! That's unheard of. That's probably also why it's just a movie. Either way, it's amazing and amuses me. I’m kind of glad he only exists on tv, though, now that I think about it. Well, unless I was him, of …show more content…
Even in the moments when it seems as if he has nothing left to give, the sight of his significant other, the thought of her, or even her voice can help him muster up any amount of force to do whatever it takes to silence her scream. In The Incredible Hulk, the second mainstream movie made of him, he did exactly that. In an attempt to capture him, the armed forces, led by Hulk’s girlfriend’s dad, attacks him and surrounds him with tanks. These aren't your typical tanks. They tried missiles and more, but nothing was strong enough to stop Hulk, so they developed satellite dish shaped, supervibration, sound wave makers to create a sound that Hulk couldn't bear. It even impaired his vision. Hulk couldn't hear, and he couldn't see, yet his unbreakable bond with his girlfriend allowed him to hear her scream, even over the sound that was defeating him, as she watched them attack and abuse him. He couldn't see or hear anything other than his girlfriend’s faint scream, but, somehow, he was able to overcome the unbearable noise and get to his feet to set himself free and run off with his lover. She is Hulk’s strength. She is Hulk’s heart. Hulk seems to be such a reckless beast, who can't contain himself, yet, with such power, he is truly sensitive in the idea of protecting his love. Often times, as an athlete, I look at The 3 Incredible Hulk as inspiration. He is powerful and agile, which are obviously important in sports, but most of all, he will
In the article, The Masked Avengers, by David Kushner, Kushner describes and goes into detail about the life of a man named, Christopher Doyon. Kushner starts his article with the childhood of Doyon and how he became involved with hacking groups early in his life. Doyon’s mother passed away when he was a child and he grew up with an abusive father. At fourteen years old, Doyon left his abusive home and moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts where he joined his first hacker group called the Tech Model Railroad Club. Although Doyon was very into computers and hacking groups, he was not a skilled coder. He felt that he was more of an activist and that using computers and technology was his way to get his point across.
The crowd roars with a deafening volume that could awaken the dead from their eternal slumber. He explodes through the doors, the crowd's cheers raise to an even higher decibel, as he sprits up to the ring it appears the only thing running through his veins is pure adrenaline, his muscles bulge as he slides into the ring. He rises to he feet, the crowd is still ecstatic, as he lifts his extended middle finger into the air as he screams, "Give me a HELL YEAH!", and the crowd, including people from all walks of life, answers back, "HELL YEAH!" He once held the Heavy Weight Champion belt of the World Wrestling Federation, making him number one, and he believes, and gets his fans to believe, he is still number one. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is a prime candidate for the nomination of a modern day Anglo-Saxon hero. "Stone Cold's" immense physical strength, his courage, and his loyalty would have any Anglo-Saxon by his side.
Every individual has at least one insecurity, and some individuals allow those insecurities to affect their opportunities for a better future. Even superheros are handicapped by their inability to be confident in their gifts, yet they face or overcome their insecurities. Hulk from the Avengers: Age of Ultron is an illustration of self awareness because he goes through a transformation where he is taught that he has a purpose and he is loved; this argues that a confident self-image is important to individualization.
My Personal Michigan hero,Luis Andalon, works hard and never stopped working hard, which inspires me to be great. My hero overcame coming from a big and a poorer family, always worked hard and never stopped. A hero is a person who inspires you and cares about you, like my hero does. My hero doesn’t have any real superpowers, but it feels like he
Attention Getter: Mia Hamm. Peyton Manning. Steve Nash. Here are just a few great athletes that most of us have heard of. But what is it that makes us look up to them? What is it that makes them great? The truth is that sports are only a small part of what makes a person worthy of looking up to.
Heroes, crime fighting people that save the world from bad guys and super villains. Some heroes might be like that, but not my hero. This man was a normal person that rose to a opportunity that he saw and took it. He help many people with their hardships of being treated differently. My hero is Martin Luther King Jr, he had many great ideas that changed history forever. I think that he did it all out of love not popularity and he did so in a peaceful way, therefore I think he is a great hero.
The few remaining wrestlers, the noteworthy ones being Ricky Steamboat and Rey Mysterio, knew what was coming. Ricky turned into a dragon and fled the stadium. Meanwhile, Rey put both his hands straight in the air, lifting off the ground and slowly accelerating towards the heavens. The Hulkster pointed to the few living crowd members, and began what is traditionally known in weeb circles as the “Super Saiyan Shout.” Hogan stood the Giant up, got him locked in, then hit with a ferocious body slam. An explosion of unprecedented size destroyed the arena, and it was a few minutes before the smoke cleared. Although the arena was but a crater, as was all of Earth, the Hulkster stood in the wreckage. He was the WWE champion, if only because everybody else on Earth was
My super hero would be (dramatic pause) Janitor Man. By day an ordinary janitor, by night an extraordinary janitor (and sometimes in the day).
Next on the list of heroes to analyze is Dr. Bruce Banner or, as he is called when in hero form, The Incredible Hulk. Dr. Banner is a man victimized by something living in his own psyche. He has a monster that his must mentally, and often times physically, control; otherwise it will escape and wreak havoc on anything or anyone nearby and pave a path of destruction in its wake. Whether one uses the comics, the TV show, or the movies, the back-story is always the same. Dr. Banner has a lab accident that causes him to become a giant, green monster whenever he loses his temper. Afraid of hurting others and being hunted the government; Bruce goes on the run across countries and continents. His ever persistent quest is to learn how to reverse the effects or at least how to live with his new life.
...ow I picture a hero acting based off of others. He has always help others make a better future and to help them stand up for what they believe in.
My hero is Walter Elias Disney. The reason he is my hero is because he is a great inspiration. Even at times when things did not have a positive outcome, in times where he was bankrupt and everything seemed hopeless, he still carried on and had an optimistic point of view in life. No matter how bad things got, he just made the best of what he had and thanks to his optimism he had went on to be a icon in the animation industry. He has taught me to never give up, no matter how hopeless the situation seems to be.
And I’m not talking about strong like The Hulk, I mean strong mentally. I remember one season when Riley struggled to get faster, and after every race, you could see her frustration. But it didn’t make sense to me, she was the hardest working person I have ever met. She outworked us all. After a while, I started noticing that she started cheering at meets more, she was more encouraging at practice and she just made the overall atmosphere of the team more positive. The rest of the team started to get faster. A few weeks later, Riley started to drop time. It was like she used everyone else’s success to propel her own. Instead of giving up, she found a way to persevere and maintain a positive attitude, because of this she actually got even faster. Riley’s second superpower was a strong-willed
The movie industry has its own set of unique jargon that both the actors, directors, and crew members need to learn in order to understand the trade and make the production run smoothly. Everyone on the set has a specific role to play, whether it be the lead actor to someone holding the boom during filming, and each group has developed their own language in order to make their lives easier. This lingo originally established in Hollywood allowed for cast and crew to assign each other different tasks in preparation for the next stage of production, while not mixing up any of main scene for filming at hand. The language itself has remained predominantly inside of the movie industry, but a few terms have managed to become infused into mainstream
Superheroes have always had a place in the world of entertainment. Children, teenagers, and even adults have superheroes or fictional characters they grew up interested in and often can be looked at as role models despite being fictional. While superheroes like Superman, Iron Man, and Batman fall into the category of middle aged men with a good amount of money and a huge house, Spiderman has a unique background and upbringing that makes him more relatable to kids and teenagers. His daily life, his family, and the area in which he grows up helps young viewers relate to Spiderman and can motivate those who are in untraditional families and living conditions to do something super with their lives.
