Lately, many fathers have been requesting to have compensated leave in order to spend time with their newborn additions. Paternity leave demolishes the usual stereotypical visions of fathers working and not staying home to care for their child. The new evolution places the father at home for at least a few weeks to be able to bond and adapt to the obligation of being a father. Paternity leave is a benefitting movement that is now permitted in more places around the world and enhances a father’s early involvement. On the other hand, fathers still face the trepidation of losing their job and possibly not being able to supply for their family. Even though paternity leave is a persistent topic, various fathers do not take a full advantage of their individual right to be with their family. Paternity leave should be tolerable everywhere while also being more extensive and flexible for the fathers.

Around the world, a vast majority of countries are opening their arms to the idea of paternity leave. With more companies putting family life before work, it is becoming the new crave that gives fathers the option to be more involved in the infancy of their child. Norway is extraordinarily big-hearted to the fathers of their country by presenting both parents a for sure two complete weeks and then offering them a joint forty-six weeks of full pay or eighty percent of their pay for fifty-six weeks (Gibbs). Receiving these settlements relieves the father’s stress by eliminating the scuffle of being a father while also supporting them financially. ... In conclusion, every father should have the choice to take a paternity leave which is an absence from work immediately after the birth of a child. The reason for this belief is that paternity leave is an instance of how more people believe that fathers can feature a

nurturing nature while also getting implicated in the child’s life as soon as possible. Not only does the newborn benefit from this rapid spreading practice but also the mother and the father as well. A father’s mentality should not be laden with accusations for financial difficulties if fired from a job or not receiving sufficient pay due to paternity leave. Even if the dilemmas are brought up, the life lessons learned from taking care of a child will pay of in the end with memories. For this reason, paternity leave is constructive issue that should be practiced world wide.
