Health exposition is an event that health centers organize for an outdoor event to educate and sensitize the community on health matters. In these forums, people are educated on practices such as healthy eating and lifestyle practices to improve their overall physical and mental health. In the changing health care industry, health practitioners strive to identify the causes of diseases and solve problems before patients attend hospitals (Cartwright & Shingles, 2011). Essentially, they do this by ensuring that the people live healthy lifestyles. To begin with, the key persons will be the heads of different departments in the health facility. For instance, the chief nutritionist, physician, psychologist, and medical doctor will serve as the organizing body in this project. Notably, the appointment of these people to organize the project assures the professionalism bit of the project. For instance, the professionals’ ethical practices will elevate the standards of services in the project. Therefore, the occasion is bound to be a success.
After selecting the team, the group’s chair leader will be appointed and the team will aim at making a detailed plan for the event. In appendix A, the primary activities include venue reservation, publicizing the event, contacting the community leaders, securing resources, and organizing for a security team. These activities are key to the success of the event. For example, the community members need to be aware of the program for a better turnout. This essay which will identify the five approaches with health promotion. It will focus on two approaches for the sake of this essay. Health promotion is not just the responsibility of those individuals in the health field. An individual?s well-being reflects whether or not that person has a healthy lifestyle. Event planning is always unpredictable and you need to be always ready for any problematic situation that may occur. When starting out there is a great chance that problems will occur that one will not prepared to face, but this is all a part of the improvement process. These situations should be looked at as a learning experience and should give you some ideas of how to improve one’s event planning skills and one’s own business.
