“Sweetie if you’re going to be two faced, at least make one of them pretty.” Marilyn Monroe was unconventional in her youth but later made a greater contribution to society. Her contributions not only impacted society, but were also impacted by her unconventionality.
Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926. She died on august 5, 1962. Her birthplace was in Los Angeles. She was in an orphanage during her elementary school years. For high school she went to junior high school. Marilyn did not attend college. She was an only child. Her biological mother was Gladys Monroe Baker Mortenson. Marilyn’s father was unknown. Marilyn is famous for being an actress and a model.
Monroe was given up for adoption when she was little. She was still a new born she was about two months old. Marilyn knew who her mother was but not her father. She would often move to different orphanages. Marilyn moved back with her mother but only for a short period of time. Her mother Gladys was hospitalized due to mental illness.
