Marilyn Monroe, one of the most respected and beloved woman of America. But what was the true life of this American idol? Her early life was one that led many hardships, her middle life consisted of the uprising of her fame, and during the last months of Miss Monroe’s life she was beaming with success and beauty. But before of all the success and fame, there was a young girl, named , Norma Jean Mortenson.
Norma Jean Mortenson was only twelve days old when her mother put her into a foster home because she did not want to add to the stress of being a parent. There a photographer, taking photos of women contributing to the war efforts, saw her effortless beauty. Marilyn started to be known around the small town and little did she know, she would be the biggest sex-symbol in American history. The young nineteen-year-old was discovered and got offered to go to Blue Book Modeling Agency in L.A. and changed her name to Marilyn Monroe, a perfect stage name that fit her personality perfectly, she divorced her husband, and set off to Los Angeles, California for the opening of her career. The brunette beauty was persuaded to go blonde in hopes of making her more successful in the world of beauty and Hollywood.
