Employee Satisfaction Merriam Webster Dictionary defines motivation as “the condition of being eager to act or work”. Having a small business, you need more than money and customers you need employees. In order for your business to succeed you must obtain a team of employees who are motivated to work for you. You must share the same goals and ambitions that will lead your business down the right path. When choosing the staff, you feel should be employed at your company there are some qualifications and requirements that should be considered while hiring new members for your team. These qualities are considered as performance behaviors. Performance behaviors are certain qualities recruiters feel the candidates should possess while being considered for the job. Some examples of preferred performance behaviors would be communication, personality or attitude, customer service, and knowledge of the job. All of these behaviors play a large role in the success of a business. Communication is a great quality to possess. Communication is something we all humans use. Communication “is the sharing of information between individuals by using speech”. People have ways of communicating some have their weaknesses in conversations and others have their strengths. When I communicate with others I feel that some things I say I do not verbalize right. I have two strengths and three weaknesses in my communicating. My three weakens in my communication are, check nonverbal feedback, to make people wrong and recognize that people understand information in different ways and my two strengths in my communication are being flexible, and take responsibility for the communication.
