The Benefits of Developing Acceptance Social Skills
The skill I believe everyone would benefit from developing would be acceptance. In the world we live in today there are far too many forms of hate and ignorance, which serves to nobodies benefit. Acceptance is such an easy skill to obtain, yet so many fight it and will not give it a chance. In terms of business, politics, religion or even just personal feelings, acceptance is a guaranteed winner.
Business benefits from acceptance of ideas and strategies, working with others on mergers and forming strength in numbers mentality. Politics would benefit from acceptance by opposing parties willingness to listen and began to come together for one goal: The United States of America. Religion would benefit by accepting that not only yours beliefs are true but others may be as well. No matter what higher power you may believe in, there is a higher power molding and shaping us every day of our lives. Personal feelings could benefit the most, combining the entire prior mentioned: business, politics, and religion.

Burkowski et al (as cited in Webster and Cater), “Friendship has been defined as a bond between two individuals that is stable across time and involves mutual affection, mutual preference and having fun together” (Webster and Carter, 2007, p. 201). It is up to parents, teachers and other paraprofessionals to seek ways to facilitate and encourage the types of positive interactions that will foster these types of friendships. If done successfully all students will benefit and there will be true inclusion.

These theories, known as social learning theories, are used to explain patterns of behavior and the learning processes behind crime. Respect is a behavior that shows another person moral and ethical acceptance. Showing respect for another, even when not deserved, is considered to be a good sign of breeding in times past, but now as where society has changed, dissing "show disrespect for" has become more accepted, this behavior suggests a cultural shift from rewarding kindness and self-restraint to applauding a more open expression of hospitality through rudeness. When finding yourself in a group having a culture and standard that are unacceptable to you, then you should either alter your belief or persuade group members to alter their standards. Alternatively, you can always have the freedom to seek out for another new set, whose standards reflect or live up to your own.

Communication can enhance self-esteem because as we communicate with other people we are able to realize who we are. Interpersonal skills are essential in everyday life, at work or in an organization. Every person needs to interact with one another, in order to accomplish their goals and objectives. The interpersonal skills described herein play an important role in our success in a business world. According to the internet articles, these interpersonal techniques can be learned and applied successfully in different circumstances. For this report, I’ve prepared a definition for each skill and how this could be applied in a business environment. On an individual level, religion can give people a community to be apart of, growing and worshiping together as fellow followers. Religion also can motivate people in their lives and their values, and beliefs that reflect the practices of that certain religion. Personally religion has helped me identify with people all across the world, and encouraged me to be a better person in my own religion. It is important that teachers help their student developed social skills for peer acceptance. The role a pre-k teacher is to observed and record social skills. the teacher need to determine who plays alone, who plays in groups, who gains access to play and who makes friends. By observing and recording this data a teacher can find out who needs help and how can they help that child developed social skills. Arranging small group activities, is an effective way to help that child interact with others. The school system is a social agency that was created to enhance the processes of socialization through education. The importance of school as an agent of socialization can be best explained by the amount of time students spend in school and in activities happen around school. The manifest functions of school are to educate students the social norms, and the knowledge and skills that help them become economically productive in order to benefit the society.
