While the state budget immediately considers fund housing initiatives to solve chronic homelessness it may not be the most efficient policy that this population needs. Housing does not provide necessary health services, may offer unequal aid to individuals and families, and may not be a priority for those individuals who are homeless. The state government should not fund housing policies for the homeless.

This concept has been embedded in the profession since the colonial system. A unique aspect of the colonial system was the
There is no true consensus on what it means to be homeless. The strictest definitions are very literal, limiting it to the condition of not having guaranteed shelter on any given night. Broader definitions include those who live in inadequate housing, such as temporary shelters. Ultimately, it is the second definition that has come to characterize American homelessness.

Research has found that students who live on-campus their freshmen year generally make better grades. They actually have a 10 to 15 percent better chance of doing well in college than students living off-campus. On top of that, students who live on campus are more likely to graduate and continue to graduate education. There are many reasons as to why living on-campus leads to a higher chance of success. Some of these reasons are the proximity to campus resources such as tutoring and the library, being surrounded by peers to form study groups, feeling more engaged in the campus and its academics, and not having to waste time commuting, leaving more time for studying and sleep. These findings have lead to nearly 100% of the United States’ major universities requiring their freshmen to live on-campus. All of this is research done by The University of Oklahoma’s Housing and Food Service (Araujo,
“We are homeless but not helpless.”(Teetee, tent city resident). Tent city, USA is very interesting and eye opening documentary. A self made community in Nashville owned by homeless people looking for jobs and surviving. In addition to spending more on the actual education and university fees, the international students also have to spend on boarding and food. Finding a place to stay that is conveniently near to the university and other places of interaction, is affordable, accepts immigrants, and suits the basic requirements - is hard, sometimes impossible. A compromise on at least one criterion of the above is required to sustain in the new country.
College is a life altering experience. It is a place where you leave anything and everything you have ever known, to come to a place where nothing is familiar. The summer before your freshman year of college can be a nerve racking experience. You anxiously wait for the day when the mailman will bring you that envelope that holds your fate. Enclosed in this envelope is the name of your roommate. Your roommate can have the biggest influence on your freshmen year. They can turn into your best friend or your worst enemy. You anticipate the day when you actually get to meet the person you will be living with for the whole year. At Penn State there are no guarantees that you will have anything in common with your roommate at all, and that is a scary thing.
Have a place separate and quiet to concentrate and study, visit libraries, research on the internet and writing are some of the study habits that prepare the young to perform well in college. Much has to do with their parents, to motivate them to develop these habits.
After graduating from high school on June 3, 2012, I quickly realized coming to college would be my first step towards becoming an adult. I wondered how living in a college dorm would differ from living in my parents’ house, or would it just be the same as living at home? I could not answer the question at that time. When I first stepped on the campus of Lamar University, I felt very comfortable with the people I came in contact with and the campus surroundings. I thought to myself, “This school would be a great way to see what life was about outside of my parents’ house”. Over the past year, I have found there are differences between living in the dorms and living at home.
After consultations with the team,I decided to do research on Gymnasium High School “Adem Gllavica” in Lipjan city.86 pupils take part on a questionnaire including three questions on it.Their age is 17/18.This questionnaire held on 21st
