The administration department also known as the services department
provides important services for other departments within a business to
help them function properly. Different companies have different uses
for their administration department, like in a small business an
administration department will be used to manage and take
responsibility for departments like human resources or finance. In
larger companies they require more departments such as marketing thus
giving administration more responsibility over more departments in a
business. Some examples of the work that the administration department
are:
* Clerical work, including filing and keeping records
* Typing and other various secretarial duties
* Organising meetings
* Photocopying
* Designing and producing forms
* Reception and managing telephone calls
* Dealing with queries
* Collecting and distributing mail
* Managing office resources
The services which administration provide usually depends on the size
of the business. In addition to the services mentioned above,
administration also provides services such as cleaning, security and
maintenance.

close relationship with its huge customer base, IT has given Cadbury
Schweppes this by providing:

Cadbury Schweppes it still provides a good source of information
for customers

* E-mail, which allows the company to communicate between customers,

The company can improve its channel strategy to enhance its current performance in one way. The company’s website is too reliant in the physical stores. The website has photos of the physical store ostensibly to help customers to connect with it. This idea seems well founded. However, the target market for any company that operates an online shopping system is not local. It transcends geographical boundaries. The company needs to consider how it can make the online shopping experience authentic and complete for customers who may never visit any of its physical stores. A website makes a company a global player. In this regard, the company needs to expand its channel strategy to take into account an expanded potential market. This shift in strategy will increase the sales the company makes.

The company has a very good information systems support in being able to make strategic and routine decisions. They research and look into every available option prior to committing to purchasing or contracting with the companies in making sure that they are able to make the best quality product at the lowest costs.
Having a website also means that there is less overhead and staff than in one of the high street shops. The website has more than one purpose. Another purpose is to ensure that the customer keeps on using the website. This is called ‘retaining’ the customer. Over the course of the history of the United States of America, the country has had struggles with its own borders and the protection of those borders. Illegal immigration is a big problem and the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and cash over our borders into our country has evolved into a bigger problem. The United States has over seven-thousand miles of border to cover each day. That is quite a bit of land, but the only problem with this is there is a lack of manpower to cover every single mile of border. The US shares its borders with Canada and Mexico. All along these borders are small communities and cities that are occupied by US citizens. This means that these cities and communities require the protection of our Homeland Security Agency.
Racial discrimination still lives in this country, especially in the housing market. This has become a major concern for racial minorities. The issues prevalence and persistence has created an almost overwhelming amount of socio-economic issues within racial minorities. This issue in particular has sparked many disputes on the topic of racism and whether it is even still an occurring issue. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has conducted several studies which revealed that discriminatory acts between potential home buyers and the property seller are still persistent. According to the National Low-Income Housing Coalition, HUD conducted a test to see if these claims were viable: “[The test consisted of] well- qualified white and minority (black, Hispanic, and Asian) testers who contacted housing providers to schedule in-person meetings and view available units. Tests were conducted in 28 metropolitan areas across the country in both rental and sale markets” (“National Low-Income Housing Coalition”). The results of this test supported these assumptions because minority renters and white renters were equally able to make an appointment for a particular property. However, minority testers were explicitly told that there were fewer options available. There were instances where the housing providers were not willing to meet with them. It has also been reported for “both Black/ White and Hispanic/White tests an average incidence of [twelve percent] of steering that promoted racial/ethnic segregation” (George and Godfrey, 254) .There are many theories about why this discrimination type occurs. A bureaucracy is a group of nonelected officials that carry out functions connected to a series of policies and programs. “Modern society relies on the effective functioning of government to provide public goods, enhance quality of life, and stimulate economic growth. The activities by which government achieves these functions include—but are not limited to—taxation, homeland security, immigration, foreign affairs, and education” (558). There are five different branches of the American bureaucracy: Cabinet department, Independent executive agencies, Independent regulatory agencies, Government corporations, and Presidential commission. Each branch has a different job to do to help the governmental system run smoothly.
When an officer acts irresponsibly or violates policy, what happens to them? Who conducts these investigations? Are these officers held accountable and if so, how? Yes, police officers are to uphold the law and policies of the department and the internal affairs division takes care of these cases. If officers are reported to have committed any criminal acts, then an investigation ensues in the internal affairs division. Investigators who work in the internal affairs division are required to investigate any suspected wrongdoing within the department. (Dempsey, Frost, & Carter, 2014) states that these cases are “the most important cases to eliminate”, however, that can only take place if those involved can make admissions that these corruption cases are an issue (p.247).
