Never give up. Never giving up is a very big part about being a teen activist. Teen activist are people who stand up for their opinion, and they never give no matter what gets in the way. Teen activist try to make everyone's physical and mental environments better. To become a teen activist you have to be willing to make a change for everybody. Don’t give up until they have got what they want, and they become great leaders to everyone. There are many great teen activist in the world, but four amazing activist are Malala Yousafzai who stood up for women’s rights, Iqbal Masih who fought for his freedom, and Alex Libby and Emily-Anne who stood up for anti-bullying. First of all, Malala Yousafzai is a great example of a teen activist because she stood up for women's rights. She stood up for women be able to go to school, market and more. In pakistan, boys were able to go to school and only some girls, when no one else would speak out, Malala stood up for the women’s right in Pakistan. Emily had lots of rumors about her, and didn’t have any friends, it was so bad for her that she moved schools. Emily states, “When you are cyber bullied or bullied offline, it feels like you can’t get away.”Emily said that she felt like a nobody, but when she heard some compliments about her it boosted her self esteem. She thought if other people heard compliments about themselves that it would boost their self esteem. So, Emily created WeStopHate in 2010 to boost victims of bullying self esteem. Emily also persevered because even when people said mean comments to her and she didn’t have any friends, she kept on going to school, and dealt with the bullies, Emily-Anne help people feel better mentally when they get bullied, through her website
All over the world, there are terrible things that have happened, but some people actually see them and have the courage to make the right change. Some of these people have even changed the way the world looks at things. Some great leaders and examples were Harriet Tubman, Melba Patillo Beals, and Malala Yousafzai. All of these characters had big motivations in their lives and felt the need to enact change. Harriet Tubman had lived through slavery herself and wanted to give other slaves the freedom they deserved. Melba was simply a highschool student who chose the long path of integrating an all white high school. Finally, Malala was a young girl who was determined to give women and girls the same chance at education
Teen activists are inspiring and helpful. They are the ones who are determined to make a difference in the world. They are the ones who never give up on their dreams and hopes. Through their thoughts, sacrifice, determination, and their inspiring heart, they make the world happy, so everyone can live equally. Three teen activists, Malala Yousafzai, Alex Lin, and Iqbal Masih, use their personalities and inspiration so that they can stop unfair education, pollution, and child labor. Teen activists are fighters and will wage war for what they believe in. These young activists all fight for something. All it takes to become an activist is a problem to solve bravery and determination. Teen activists try to solve world problems typically one that they strongly believe should change. While doing this they face many challenges and all the while they teach important lessons.
Have you ever overcome any challenges or obstacles? Well that is what a teen activist have to do. While teen activists are fighting for their causes they come up against groups that try to stop them. These groups use both physical and mental violence against the activists. Those are some challenges and obstacles that teen activism overcome. A teen activist is when a teen helps make changes in the world or make differences in the world.
Teen Activists are brave. They show courage helping others and fighting for what they believe in, sometimes risking there for others. Being a teen activist, you can expect to fight through many obstacles as you advocate for your cause. A teen activist is someone who takes action in the world, and stands up for what's right no matter how hard it is. If you want to become a teen activist then you have to be someone who never gives up on trying things. Malala Yousafzai, Alex Libby, and Iqbal Masih are all examples of teen activists.
One day she came across a shocking static; “More than 1 million young people are bullied online each year.” Emily-Anne says “when you are cyberbullied it feels like you can’t get away”. So, in response she created WeStopHate (WSH). As a result, westophate raises self-esteem through Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and other digital platforms. This raises self-esteem because through Facebook and Twitter you get motivational messages and on YouTube Emily posts motivational videos for people who are going through a rough time. Also, westophate prevents kids/teens from committing suicide. Emily says “ I stay motivated by the messages that westophate promotes.” Therefore, Emily-Anne says she wants to create a bully button on Facebook. So when someone is getting cyberbullied they can just press the button and it will all stop. Emily-Anne created westophate in 2010 and it post videos weekly for people to stay motivated when they are being bullied and when they are feeling like they aren’t’ good enough. Emily-Anne always says “ Sometimes I pretend to be normal, but the it gets boring so I go back to being me.” She says that because people pretend to be someone different around certain people, but Emily says that it gets boring so she goes back to being
Teen activism affects the worlds in many ways.Teen activist are believers and are people who want to change the world, and all it takes is to have a passion and fight for it. But some of the most important ones are, Malala Yousafzai affects the world by enforcing women's rights. Second, is Alex Libby fights to stop bullying.
It’s clear that with activism, great things have happened. Clearly, activism changes the world for the better. Malala, being one of these activists, is arguably one of the best activists. In the beginning of Malala’s life she lived in Swat Valley, Pakistan where the Taliban ruled and shut down and blew up schools for girls(EB). However, the Pakistan army soon drove out the Taliban and lifted the ban for girls going to schools (EB).
What is a teen activist? Well, a teen activist is someone who is determined, fights for what they believe in, and starts a movement, to reach out to the world.When they believe that something is wrong, they try to right it. They make a difference. Those youths are the people who are going to make the changes, the people who “stand for the silent”, the people who know what is wrong, and what is right. We can be those people. We can do what we know is right. We can make a difference! It just starts with a step. And although there are many kids who are teen activists, fighting for what is right, three people who stand out are Malala Yousafzai, Alex Lin, and Alex Libby. They’re some teens who make a difference.
Well, Malala also won the Nobel Peace Prize, and spoke up for her rights. She got shot in the head because she spoke so strongly for rights to be able to go to school legally. Yes, she did write a blog under an anonymous name, as a type of silent protest, but she later revealed who she was. This whole thing all started with her father suggesting that she be the one to write a blog for BBC, but has escalated into something more well voiced. Malala Yousafzai started the Malala Fund and on her 18th birthday opened a school near the Syrian border that can hold more than 200 girls living in informal camps. Next I will be talking about Malala and what she is fighting for, then Craig Keilburger, and I will end it all with Faye Carey. Malala Yousafzai is one teen activist who fights for girls education. A lot has happened to Malala throughout the years. First of all, according to “Malala Yousafzai Biography” Malala started talking out about girls education when she was 12 years old. Also, according to an interview Malala did on “The National” one day when Malala was on a bus all of a sudden the Taliban came and they shot Malala’s head!
Teen activists are ambitious, passionate, and brave people who help our world. These teenagers want to make a difference in the world, mostly for rights of other people. A few of these include Malala Yousafzai, Alex Lin, and Iqbal Masih. These three teen activists stand up for people’s rights and help make the world a better place. Malala Yousafzai is trying to allow girls to go to school, Alex Lin is trying to stop e-waste, and Iqbal Masih stopped child slave labor.
